dream about death of ex

last night i dreamt that i got back with my ex and we were happy and i felt love.then someone started chasing us and my ex was murdered. i then felt loss and despair and the rest of my dream was me being chased by the murdered and also and trying to deal with the loss. i usually have very intuitive dreams but i think i need some assistance with this one as i dont feel like i can be as objective with this one. my split was just a month ago and there is a possibility we may reconcile at some point.its all a bit in the air just now. please advise what you think my dream meant
