I am married and pregnant and have not seen my ex-boyfriend for more than 2 years. I have recurring dreams that I visit my ex at his house but I try to keep it a secret from everyone esp. my husband. I don't usually go in the house. It is not sexual. I finally had a dream that I am at his house talking with him and I introduce him to my husband Later in the dream I meet my ex' wife(which he does not have)who is also pregnant and due the same month as me. In real life my ex was violent but in the dream he hides it well and his wife hates me.

Well I believe that dreams can sometimes hold quite sophisticated and complex thoughts. These complex thoughts though are not easy to interpret from the dreams. I know with my own dreams though what complex and abstract thinking dreams can portray. It does not help me too much with other peoples dreams though. Its probably best not to speculate too much. It would be easy to say that there was something about your ex that you still like.

It probably just means that you are comparing yourself now to how things might have been. It maybe that you have reconciled yourself to your past and you can share your deepest problems and feelings with your husband.
