Dream of cotton.
And there I was coming from the house to the garden. There were three girls harvesting left over cotton in the big plantation. They were far at the end and I was on the other side. We were facing each other and as they did cultivate using hoes, I started picking the pieces from this end. We were talking wondering why they left some all this cotton behind. I did come closer to them really quick and then we merged. We finished and the entire plantation looked cleared. I later remembered going into the house at Makerere. It was a bigger house this time but in the same shape as it was while I was growing up. It had many windows. Open windows and while we were inside the house, one of my sisters was complaining of Nansamba smoking while using her smoke pipe. I went to see why she was using her smoke pipe and Nansamba told me that she had just bought that new one. She then showed it to me and while I walked towards the living room through the window, I saw a Puma (Mountain Lion) It was like patrolling the outside of the house. The windows were open and when I saw it I told everyone and asked why the windows were open. When I made sound, it came like walking back to the front of the house and then I started closing all the windows and then I put card boards in them. While I did that, the two sisters were still complaining about the cigar pipe and then I woke up. January 18, 2008 |

Hi,
Cotton means some moral money as much as he dreamt about and easy to earn. Cotton also means preferences. Dreaming about a young woman for men means a happiness and achieving a wish is on the way , this is the same for women about dreaming a man. The happiness will be as much as the woman ( or man ) will be beautiful and thick. An old woman means the material world. The best is that the woman or man ( for women) was not known and was of a nice figure, that will mean an opening in the life. An ugly, thin woman means a short of money and famine , a happy woman ( or a man for ladies) with make up means achieving a wish and an ugly dirty old woman means a bad situation and not achieving a wish. Wild cats Wild cat is interpreted as a rich stranger. If one dreamt he had some meat or skin of a wild cat means he will receive some money. If dreamt he was fighting a wild cat means he will fight a stranger. If dreamt he killed a wild cat and skinned it means he will waste a stranger's money.

Cotton picking does not pay well, unless you are the owner of the plantation. It is very hard work. The second hand or the second harvest is the leftover cotton. It is the cotton that was not quite ready for harvest the first time or was not picked right the first time. You are not realizing the full benefits of all your hard work. The smoking pipes in your dream symbolize your relaxation and a time for deep thinking, meditation. The puma represents a situation or danger that threatens your ability to meditate, relax or obtain the full benefits of your labors. Why the carboards? Thank you for sharing. |

And there I was, I saw my dead father walking around at home where I first grew up. My father saw me piling up a lot of cloth to wash.
He spoke with my sister and another woman and as I went back to pick up more cloth, my step mother asked me of the whereabouts of my father and I told her he was right next door talking to my sister and a lady. She was furious and called him with anger. I then took the cloths for washing outside. There were many towels. As I was about to check the cloth sort them out, my father gave me fifity dollars with a thank you from him and I said Dad, I have not even started washing the cloth. I then woke up, had the money and did not wash the cloth.. |

And there I was, walking up the street looking for my home. As I approached I did see my Aunt-Nakanwagi.
While we went to sit down and talk, I saw her with three children with Mummy Nanteza as well. We spoke and then tmy aunt left. Mummy Nanteza proceeded to leave as well with the children. While they were rushing to get into the airport terminal, I showed up in an old beaten up van. I did park right at the entrance and left the car running. I was rushing to catch up with them. When I came backa and I had failed to see them since they were rushing to leave, I found the vehicle missing. I started looking for it and I saw a Police Officer who gave me the keys. I started looking for the car in the parking lot and when I saw one that looked like it, I came to it and it was not the one. I thn looked around more and found it, however when I got inside, I found the car had been ransacked. I sat in there very angry looking at the Police Officers who were in a distance and I then woke up. |

Your dream is a classic message using symbolism of the south, therefore I am assuming that your life was either influenced by traditions and customs of the south AND OR, that you in face have grown up there.
Your dream explores the notion that there something that awaits you...that there is opportunity in your waking life to process what you have collected (the knowledge learned by living life and the education that you have received) and that you can make something from that. The cotton being harvested indicates this...another words collecting the raw goods which symbolically parallels that which you have learned, AND that you can use this to weave the fabric of life and gain in whatever opportunities abound. The basic message here is that it is time to use whatever you have, and do something positive, just get out there and do something! The innuendo is that there are opportunities that await you but you must make yourself available to these opportunities. The new pipe and smoking with nansamba all illustrates the processes of the subconscious mind that have scripted and brought these thoughts to your awareness (this is almost like a television station when it announces, "This program is being brought to you by etc. and then nansamba represents the subconscious mind that is so very wise and willing to mentor you). The smoking represents pipe dreams...the minds wishes and your dream tells you that your life is not over yet...there is left over cotton to process there is the fabric of life to weave! The Puma is quite a neat symbolism and it in the context shown it represents the fact that the subconscious mind is there to protect you. It stands and watches, it guards against things that can negatively affect you in waking life. The truth of the matter is that this is wonderful symbolism but in this dream it may insinuate that perhaps you are being a bit to hesitant to discover life. Remember that the indication is that there is much left undone (in waking life). Again the bottom line is that it is time to get busy! Your comments would be appreciated. sailrmc |

I often do not have time to read anything but the original posting of the dream and in this case that is true. When I did post my reply I noticed that there was much more to your dream. These things are very telling and of equal importance because they show the rest of the story.
In your case someone (you feel) has hindered your ability to grow. The car being stolen shows that something was taken from you. The symbolism of the policeman show that you are justified in your thinking that you have been slighted by someone, and so I believe that that you are right in your thinking. The ransacking of the car represents the inner damage that this person has caused you and it shows to be severe. AND yes, you are justified in your anger! You have become overly cautious as a result But the subconscious mind (who is your mentor and friend, and the part of you that contains wisdom beyond comprehension, is telling you..."OK, you are right and yes anger is present and rightly so...BUT there is much left to be accomplished. The innuendo is that you are being told that you are highly capable of positive progress and personal fulfillment if you just apply yourself. This dream is highly important and it comes from a high place. My advice to you is to acknowledge the effort of the subconscious mind by doing this little exercise... Just before sleeping, think of the dream and of it's meaning. Remember the facts but be sure to remember something else. Remember the person or persons who have kept you from realizing your full potential and become very calm. To this point I have only looked at the dream but the biggest message has not been commented on by me yet. The message is that you are being told that there is much dirty laundry piling up. These towels represent the fact that you have held anger and negative energy for a long time (toward the person and circumstances that have kept you from realizing your full potential) The dream suggests that this is a huge weight and a great drain upon you. The further suggestion is that it is time to let go of the anger toward this person and circumstances that followed. The dream says that it is time to forgive. Keep in mind that there are many kinds of forgiveness and what ever kind that you must apply, do whatever you can to forgive this person. I will close this reply for now and continue in another new reply due to length constraints on this site. sailrmc |

continued...
Forgiveness: Sometimes when we are harmed it is difficult to face the person who has caused the harm. Either we are too weak or sometimes facing this person will only cause much more pain. Sometimes this person is no longer alive as well and it would be impossible to face this person in this case. But you can forgive anyone, weather you face them or not. Regardless of the circumstances you can forgive. You may say, I am so angry that I cannot bring myself to actually feel the words of forgiveness that I mutter. Still you can forgive. I use the term forgive weather or not you have the strength to forgive. You would do this by forgiving on your own terms, and this is a good place to start. OK back to what I was saying...you are laying down ready for sleep and you think about your dream. You acknowledge the dream and it's meaning (out loud just like talking to someone). Actually you are speaking to someone. That someone is your subconscious mind. I know, it sounds a bit crazy but hang in there with me for a moment. after saying what I have already mentioned ans still using your own words. you be truthful and say that you would like to forgive the person who you have anger towards, the person who has hurt you but you do not feel as if you are strong enough to mean the words that you would say. Then you say that you are going to forgive that person for "your" own good, so that you can loose the excess weight of the negative energy that you must drag around with you everyday. Face it, anger and hate (any negative feelings that you have drag you down). By harboring pain associated with this negative stuff you are only hurting yourself. The excess weight of the pain drags you down and is a power that keeps you from being free! So if you cannot genuinely feel forgiveness toward this person, then at least acknowledge that it is too much to ask right now and that you at least be freed from the pain. Another words you say something to the effect that you are forgiving to forgive and to take the weight from you. This weight that I speak of controls the person that bears the burden. It robs you from emotional freedom! If we cannot be free in mind, then we cannot be free in our waking life. If you can ask for forgiveness for this person...at worst case (at first) just to let you become free this in itself can be so very powerful. In essence your dream is inviting you to really wash the dirty laundry and not just say the words of forgiveness. IN reality truth is freedom in itself so allowing yourself to forgive for your own sake is honest. THEN AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE YOU WILL FIND IT EASIER TO TAKE THE STEPS TO REALLY AND TRULY FORGIVE THE PERSON WHO HAS KEPT YOU FROM PERSONAL ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE. I have seen this approach work on many dreamers who's mind has told them that they too were burdened. It is life changing. Also I can say first hand...It was life changing for me! Now I am religious but I always say that I am more spiritual than religious. You will know when your burden of anger toward this person is lifted. It is mind blowing and incredible...and mine came to me in one of the most incredible uplifting dreams I have ever experienced. The freedom that it brought me, and the emotional cleansing was far beyond what I had ever comprehended. Peace to you, sailrmc |
