Dreams of a meteor blast hitting Chicago

I dreamed that a big meteor hit Chicago's near north side just on the edge of Lake Michigan, landing slightly offshore but very near the beach.

After that there were shock waves on the land and in the water that went outwards like bullseye rings. They reached as far as Green Bay WI, which is also on Lake Michigan. Shockwaves in a ring this big would wipeout all of the Chicagoland area, including the cities along the southern tip of the Lake in Indiana.

Sadly after that everything seemed to be burned up and all that was left on the ground was black char as far as the waves had spread out.

I know this dream predicts future events, but don't think it should be taken literally as a meteor blast.

Ideas anyone?

Dreams are about what happens in your sleep and can't predict the future! only conscious delliberation and planing ahead can indicate what may come to pass. Natural disasters come and go without warning.
Yopur dream was probably caused by some pain or discomfort in your sleep.
The dream was turning you over in bed and making you move the head and neck.

A meteor means a great man, if fell means a great man in that region will die.The three lakes mean three other great men in that region.


Coal is interpreted as immoral money.
If dreamt he had some coal or someone gave him means he will receive some immoral money.
If dreamt he put some coal in the fire and set fire means he will do a business with the governor.
If dreamt his cloth or body was black with coal means he will receive a sorrow and disaster from the governor.

Hi Highness,

Your dream reminds me of a theory that someone had put forth concerning the Great Chicago Fire. I forget who the person was, but they stated that the fire could have been started by meteors instead of Mrs. O'Leary's cow. He pointed out that meteors hit the woods in Wisconsin the same night and sparked forest fires.

Thanks for your help everyone. Meybe I should have added to the original posting that I woke up knowing that the meteor was supposed to represent Barack Obama. If Vanderah is right my dream appears to predict he'll die... but if everyone else is right I dreamed of the true cause of the Chicago fire in order to wake up enough to free my aching arm. The second is better news for Obama (hee).

Any other thoughts out there?
