dying person confessing his love for me

Hi, I have been having this dream off and on for the last 20 yrs. There was this guy that is in my family, we were all very close and he was much older than me 8 years. I was very close to him, and he and I shared a wonderful rapport. I might add that he was very handsome, and i was very ackward and considered the ugly duckling.. not for once did I ever think or suspect that his feelings for me would change, until he told my family about it.

However I was young and circumstances chaged. he eventually got married and on his wedding day (to the girl whomm his family considered as perfect for him), he confessed to me that I should be the one he was marrying, and only then realised how heartbroken we both were.- we never kept in touch after that but on the few occasions we met, he still has that forlorn and heartbroken look on his face. BTW his wife knows about me and does not like me much, as I am told by the family.

Over the years life moved on, but I have this recurring dream now and then, that he is declaring his love foor me and I run away. Now i dream that he is dying, but promises to come back for me, and that sitautions will change and we will be together. this really disturbs me. My religion does not preach re-incarnation...what do I do?

Well dreams will tend to ignore religious ideologies. This dream probably just represents you asking qiestions to yourself... I wish things were different? I wonder how life would have been if I had married him?

It probably just means that you are unhappy about how things are going... or it may just appear at times when you feel a little philosophical or reflective.
