Help, very scary dream

I had this dream last night, its not the first time, i have had this type of dream, but last nights really freaked me out.

I dreamt, that me and my family where in grave danger, especially my partner, and we where hiding in a flat - one i'd never been to before. Men where trying to climb through the windows to get to us, i have never been so scared. I was trying to get some stuff together, for the kids, and lost sight of my partner. When i was leaving the flat, with only my daughter, my partner was impailed on a coat hook on the back of the front door! It was obvious he was dead. The next thing i now, me and my kids are being held captive, by the people that had killed my partner, and one wanted to have sex with me. i felt so scared and sick. He did, but i don't remember it, and then i was meeting an older couple, who where the leaders parents. They where concerned about me reporting what had happened to the police. I told the not to worry, as i feared for my kids safety, and they let me go!

My 4 year old son then woke me up. But i can't shake the feeling of dread, every time i think about Mark - my partner, on the back of that door. I felt so helpless, but very angry.

Can somebody please explain, if poss, why i keep dreaming about Mark getting killed. As i said earlier, this isn't the first time i have dreamt Mark gets badly hurt, the first time he was stabbed, but by loads of people at the same time.

thanks for that, but hope your right. I was never one for letting my dreams worry me, but as i get older they seem much more vivid, and very close to my heart.
