I was asleep @ my childhood home in the bottom bunk (like in childhood) and my husband woke me up. For some reason one of my female friends was in the den and I could see her and asked my husband what she was doing there. He said she came to pick up something, it was no big deal. Then he left the room and I went to the bathroom and I could see him sitting on the sink closest to the door but she was on the toilet naked and maybe soapy. I was standing in the doorway of my mother's room watching and then he saw me and came to talk to me. That's when he broke the news that I had to leave and she was staying. Then we ended up in the carport with all these clothes on a rack and they were mine and hers and he would chose the best items for her and I got the lesser ones. For instance, these sexy black dresses (I think he'd purchased them), he gave her the prettier one. Same thing with a pair of paisley skirts. It was all done really foul. I confronted her about why she didn't tell me. She had on this gold makeup that looked out of place. Other people were around but I can't remember now who they were. Then I was standing on the porch trying to call my best friend and my phone turned into a bigger version of my blue calculator and the buttons were hard to press. Finally I got him on the phone and the dream ended with me pleading with my best friend to come pick me and my stuff up. The episode was quite foul, I woke up with the overwhelming feeling of "why did it have to be so nasty?"
I don't suspect hubby of cheating nor do I suspect this friend would do anything like that. I am quite curious as to what you all think it might mean. Also, I knew none of these people during childhood. |

Well dreams can be rather strange. They depict some unlikely situation.. its their way of saying... STOP COMPLAINING - THINGs ARE NOT AS BAD AS THIS
What happened yesterday... Did you come across someone being treated very badly ... in a similar way to this...even if it was just on TV Dream dictionary symbols - How to analyse and interpret dreams A dream dictionary based upon hundreds of real dreams |

You do have some shocking dreams! My guess is that you either work too hard, or very stressed for some reason. Have you started a family yet? The dream conveys some feeling of inadequecy. The dream seems to be a reponse to some negative thoughts that intrude in your sleep. From this distance I can't tell what your problem is. It may be just your style of dreaming caused by introspection. Try a more expansive personal life outside marriage. You are too focussed on your husband! Cheers Wolfjk

@ unclesirbobbyrobson: I cannot recall anything that happened yesterday or recently that evoked that type of feeling in me.
@ Wolfjk: Things with Hubby are really good and we actually do very much have full personal lives but without knowing that I see how you arrived there. @ Both: I appreciate the responses. I think the dream is literal to my life in that my Mother played my sister and I against each other, so for many years during childhood there was competition. I think she still actively competes (though my mother has passed) and I try not to but I think subconsciously I do still see things (especially with other relatives) as either me or her. |
