Ball Game & Park That I Didn't Know Existed

My wife and I were taking my sons to a major league baseball game. She wanted to sit behind center field, but we got there so late that all the good seats were gone. However, I saw that there was standing room behind the batter so we walked over there. When we did we were disappointed that we couldn't see anything. Then one of the batters fouled the ball back and I was thrilled when a man standing close to me caught it and made me think that maybe this wasn't such a bad area. Then a small girl came over to me with a coloring book and asked me if I wanted to color pictures with her. At first, I felt annoyed because I wanted to watch the game. Then she gave me a green, red, and blue crayon and three pictures of a house and looked at me very sweetly. I smiled back and told her that I could color these houses three different ways, so I spent time coloring with this little girl.
Then I dreamed that I was cycling through my town. I had found a bike path that hadn't existed before and followed it uphill to a park. Around the park were beautiful homes that I didn't know existed which exited me. I stopped my bike and called my wife from my cell phone and told her about what I had found. Then I pedaled back home because I was going to bring her there to show her the area that I had found.

The ball game is either the competition within you or (I believe less likely) it could be the competition that we see between people in the game of life.

Your dream, who may symbolize your anima, wants to sit behind center field. This would place all of you in the middle where you would (symbolically) not be taking sides.

However, you (who is probably your ego) wants to be in more of a controlling position so you stand behind the batter. You then realize that you can’t see anything, which may mean that your ego should not get too involved with the goings on of these dream people. (If you show favoritism, you will hinder their relationship with each other – as well as their relationship with you.

The man near you catches a foul and you are glad to be close to the action. This probably means that it is OK to be near the give-and-take of the competition between these dream people but you should not take sides.

A little girl came over to you and you two colored in a coloring book together. Her appearance is probably due to your being a passive observer. She sounds like she is the next step in the development of your anima.

The three colors and the three houses may be references to three chakras -- red for the 1st chakra, green for the 4th and blue for the 5th or the 6th.

As a result of the time that you spent with her, you go to the next part of the dream. You are cycling through town and find a bike path that did not exist before. The path that you are on is taking you to unknown parts of your unconscious. The beautiful homes are probably representative of development of the dream people who live there.
