A General Mishmash of Things

For the hell of it, one of the stranger dreams I've had, from a year or so ago.

As recorded on October 7, 2007:

" . . . Last night I had a dream about two action-hero detectives chasing a deadly criminal through a classy art deco building. Just as they neared their quarry, however, they were suddenly transported to a strange alternate universe where the clouds were painted on and motorized flying carpets littered the sky.

"It wasn't long before they were imprisoned by an evil cult, acting on a vague prophecy of doom that their leader had sent out in a memo. After languishing for a couple months in a dank prison, the detectives were rescued by a two-foot-tall woman, who took them to the roof and flew away with them in a gigantic mechanical flying mushroom."

. . . I've always wondered if that one meant anything. It keeps going, too, mind. The next part involves gumbo. And aliens.
