Dreaming about a friend lately?

Well, let me start from a while back, I was dating this girl for a little while and we broke up, but we're really really close friends now, and we each have new significant others. There are the four of us, (her, me, and both of our significants) and we're all close friends. About a week ago.. I had this dream about this friend, and it was that her and I were at what seemed to be a ski resort, it was snowing and we were alone under a tree. We were holding hands and she lightly kissed me and we smiled; then a dark figure started walking towards us and I felt scared. I couldn't see it's face, it was about twice my height and I just felt like there was no tomorrow. It kept getting closer and closer and then I just woke up, out of breath. I haven't had the dream again and I've been thinking about it a lot lately, I dunno what it all means though.. any help?

Have you considered that your dream was caused by you having some breathing difficulties in sleep?
The dream indicates that you had a cold, or were feeling cold when you had this dream. A bad sleeping position could have caused the dream.
Regarding the girl, I know which one you would pick if you had a second chance!
