Hi,
Sun means a politician or your father and moon means also a politician or your mother. So these two kind of people will join and unite.

What wonderful and telling dream.
The sun represents so much and in the way depicted in your dream it is all positive. The sun is awareness, vitality, creativity and life's energies. The placement of the sun is also of significance. consider the place of the sun in the day's sky. Just rising indicates newness, a new day, new exuberance...mid day would indicate a phase in life, mid life or moving into a period of maturity. Likewise the sun being in the west or close to setting often shows the approaching time in which a phase of your life comes to a close perhaps that a new chapter is soon to come. The taking of the moon or merging of the sun and moon shows that the waking life awareness is accepting of the subconscious minds messages (made possible through dreams). In this analysis one must consider the fact that one's free will (waking mind same as conscious mind) acts during the day. It can make and carry out any choice the person chooses...plain and simple representing the free will. But in your dream you come to realize that the moon and the sun become one in the same (moon representing the subconscious mind and it's processes of reflecting back to you, via dreams, important information that it observes during waking hours. This is exactly how the conscious/subconscious process of the mind work. As a person lives his waking life, the conscious mind is often too distracted to totally focus on the intense details being presented...The waking mind is trying to command the muscles to carry out it's wishes simultaneously trying to figure out what to pick up from the market for dinner...ok the light is green go...but better wait for the oncoming traffic before I make the left turn etc. All the while the subconscious mind is watching and recording each and every detail. If the senses encounter something it is recorded. Some of the data recorded is held aside for future evaluation or filed away in a special place to be commented on (presented in dreams). The waking life is the sun and the moon is the process that reflects that which was encountered in the light of day in a way that the dreamer becomes "aware" of many aspects of life that his waking mind was too distracted to really notice. While the conscious and subconscious mind work independently they actually make up the team that helps one move throughout life in a successful manner. The subconscious mind also shows the feelings and emotions and how they will be (or are affected) affected by events of the waking life. sailrmc |

This is a waking dream. One of the most potent waking element in dreams is light. Seeing the sun and moon both provide energy to bring you near waking. However, in the background there is also the idea of catastroph when the two collide, just to make sure you wake up! Cheers Wolfjk
