Killing a serial killer?

I've woken up terrified twice now, and it takes a long time to calm down after this dream. What do you think, could this dream have some personal meaning, or have I been watching too scary movies?

I'm lookin for something in an apartment building with an older woman, who is my colleague or something. We find a clue for what we are looking for in one of the apartments (although I don't know what it is that we've found) and the woman goes to the car to get something. I'm about to leave the apartment with the man who let us in there, when he suddenly turns around and snaps this collar on me, so that I can't speak or scream. I'm hearing a mechanical recording that tells me to be quiet and do as I am told, follow the man where he's going to take me and not to make any trouble. I look up to the man, and his eyes are dead, light blue in color, but dead as if he was blind - or dead. The man grabs me and starts pulling me out from the apartment, I try to scream but only a wheezing sound comes out because of the collar. I realize that he is the serial killer that we've been looking for, and he is going to kill me, and i seem to know in the dream that he's been killing several other women in some horrible way. I manage to get a hold of a metal bar in the staircase, and try to get it loose so that I can use it as a weapon. The man is pulling me away, holding my legs.

The first time I had this dream, I woke up here. Last night I managed to rip the metal bar loose, and I pushed it into his stomach as hard as I could. The bar went actually through him, so that he had to let me go. I started running down the stairs, wondering if he really died. And I got worried that he might attack the woman who was working with me, because she might be taking the elevator up while I was running down. And then I woke up.

The dead person is someone who is ignorant and kinda silly that wants to help you in a way as killing means to help to have a problem solved.
You were pulled down means you will lose some dignity or rank at work.
A bar means another man who has some power and you will do the ignorant man a favor.
Your co worker will receive some dignity at work and at last running away means a happiness.
