Foreshadowing

I should probably mention before I get started that I have a chronic illness that from time to time causes me EXTREME abdominal pain.

In this dream I am securely bunkered in a large church in the heart of a large city. I have everything I need right here, so there's no need to go outside...which is good cause there's zombies out there (suprise suprise). I have been here for a long time. Some silly and completely unnecessary breach of security occours and some violence ensues after which I am once again secure but now I have a large chunk of rib free-floating in my chest cavity. It's irritating and painful, I keep trying to push it back into place, but to no avail.

I must seek medical attention, get this fixed. BUT...I'll have to go across the street, where there are other people...and zombies. I have a whole vision-in-a-dream sequence where I am shown exactly what will happen if I do this. In this vision I see a man step out of a room covered in blood, as he steps out into the hallway he gives a tremendous roar and shortly after this happens we are all of us overtaken by the zombies and we all die. However, I cannot stay here, because this huge chunk of floating rib demands my attention and care.

I venture across the street, and find the help I am seeking, a doctor...Vincint Price. I am placed on a gurney to be transported to another part of this large and complex building. The Dr. goes ahead and I am wheeled through the corridors, into which I have brought zombies and violence with my arrival. There is fighting everywhere, and the nurse shoves me into an office room and closes the door. We cannot make it to our intended destination, so she is protecting me. If only my rib was better I could help. I can't stand lying on the gurney anyway so I get up, do my best to adjust the floating body part, and pick up a weapon. I am going to try to find this room that I saw in my vision before it is too late.

In true horror survival fashion I stalk the hallways and corridors dispatching the walking dead. I find the operating room and the dead Dr. and I know I have damned us all and I will never be fixed for the trouble. Just around the corner is the hallway of my vision, and I see the blood on the ground, and the open door next to it and know that although I was not here to witness it the blood covered man has come and we are all doomed.

If one dreamt a doctor cured an ill person means he will guide someone from sins to a true way of life.
If dreamt a doctor prescribed medicine and it was effective means he will speak some scientific words and will teach people will follow his words.
If the medicine was not effective means in the contrary.
Being a doctor in the dream in interpreted as an honest pious person and spiritual deeds, For dishonest people means health and livelihood.

I find your interpretations interesting. Especially the ribs, since I don't have either a husband or bf and haven't for years...the implications require more thought.

I'm sorry to hear of your chronic illness. I hope you'll find some comfort or cure.
Your dream is dreamt to take your mind off your pain. Your subconscious creates a dream story line that incorporates your pain, but transferes it to a different place. The dream was diverting your attension from your pain by populating your dreamscape with these zombies. However you do get a nice doctor - straight out of Dracula! Vincent Price was one of the actors who played Count! Perhaps you seen the film in the past.
