I Am Creating A Dreamworld

Please tell me if this is normal.
Through the years I have had many dreams that don't seem associated except that they are connected through a continuously evolving ''dreamworld''. For example, I will be having a dream about being on a sailboat heading out to sea, and will look back over my right shoulder and see a marina where I had a different dream months previously.
This ''land'' has become quite complex and I can even map it. My dreams also keep adding to this ''land''.
Do others have elaborate, building dreams like this?
