I had this dream the other night, and it's been bugging me. First dream like it I've had. Wondering what it may mean and what the possible significance of it is if it reoccurs? Dream:I was working on a roof with my dad, who is alive and well. Somehow he ended up on his back, sliding down away from me. He went over the edge. The ground was wet pavement. There was an awful sound when his head hit, and then suddenly he was unconscious and floating away down some drainage ditch and there was this horrible feeling of not being able to do anything to help. ---I know nothing about dream interpretation...would greatly appreciate any info on this. Thanks.

Hi,
A roof if known means he will receive a case of more dignity. If an unknown roof means a woman. He fell down means he won't achieve a wish and if face down or his head hit the ground means he will have some anxiety. He fell in a drain ditch means he will be deceived or he will get ill. If he and you help a few poor people as much as you can it may pass slightly. Also praying and repnting to God helps much. Dream language interpretation is an ancient science of allusions and pointing of the surrounded environment, as Mr. Einstein has said the events are like train stations which exist and we are moving towards them, these are prewritten destiny with some authority ( in decision making seconds) in very full details. This dream language should be translated, and interesting to know it is international and common for all human beings. But ignorance causes some misunderstanings.People were not aware of this language and always thought in a bad way , for example Mr. Freud said about sexual dreams it is because you have suppressed your sexual desires so misled everybody and some women dreamt about having sex with co-workers or another and thought they should do that, while it only meant he will do something for her, or some others dreamt had sex with the same sex and invented homosexual, while it meant the same ,Also some men dreamt his wife had sex with a man and didn't understand or a woman dreamt her partner had sex with a woman and didn't' understand ...etc.Do you see what catastrophes are caused by misunderstanding a language. About the approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks.

First I would like to assure you that the dream was about what happened in your sleep. You probably think that your dad is getting too old to do the jobs he is doing and worry about him. Your subconscious uses the worry to wake you up. If the dream happened near your normal waking time, it was dreamt to wake you up. However if it was dreamt early in your sleep, you needed to be woken up for some reason. The only meaning to the dream is that you woory about your dad. The dream was dreamt on night when you had some other issues; you were tire or stressed out, ir otherwise indisposed. Cheers Wolfjk

I think your dream means that you and your father are growing apart. It's hard to say whether you are growing apart is in terms of your career (you are working) or in your personal life (you are on a house) or perhaps spiritually (carpentry / building home). The feelings you have in the dream reflect how you feel about this change.

This dream was one of the weirdest and scariest. In my dream, I saw all my family including extended family was altogether at our house and celebrating in an open space/field just outside our house. Probably the occasion was my parent's anniversary. My mom was on the roof of the house with some relatives/ladies and my dad was climbing open stairs (no railings/support) to join her on the roof. My mom gave her a hand and either my dad slipped or lost control, he fell down from the roof. Now all of a sudden it was dark and nobody was able to see if he fell down and nobody found him on the ground. I asked my mom, where is dad then she said he is worshiping (we've little temple in our house) and will be out soon (weird huh!). Nobody seem to paid attention to this fact and everybody seemed to enjoy but mom. She look little anxious, that's when I climbed up to the overhang of a window, which was below the roof but still far above the ground. That's where I saw my dad dead, faced up and I just screamed and woke up with high heartbeats. Any advice, what could be going on.
If it would help, just that evening I'd a little fight with my wife for not telling her something or hiding it from her which eventually she came to know. By the time we went to bed, it calmed down but she was still a little mad on me. Last edited by itsshanks : 03-05-2009 at 09:34 AM. Reason: grammatical mistake |
