An Eagle and a Snake (which bites me)

I had a weird dream because I was with a woman that I know of but never met, her daughter and bestfriend and we were going places and having fun. We ended up at what was supposed to be my job (because my co-workers that I work closely with were there) and my dad and a few others. The dream is pretty basic in the beginning. We go shopping at a mall, go get food to eat. Come back to the office. The little girl goes to sleep and I watch her with loving feelings. We continue to have laughs and it seems innocent.

Then the woman and I go outside to go to the store but seems as though we prepare to go out the back door and are on stairs but then can't get out from the stairs and decide to take the elevator. As we are preparing to take the elevator, it never comes so we end up just going out a door which leads to this back yard with grass and greenery. Her bestfriend (who I never met before either) comes behind us. As we go outside and I notice a bird come down and land on this tree stump. I look in amazement and I'm saying "oh wow look at that" (for some reason I am under the impression it was an eagle.) The bird was beige in color and had brown horizontal stripes though.

As we look at the bird, the woman then jumps and screams something that I can't understand but I think it is something "nake". As she jumps and screams, the best friend screams as well. I'm asking them what did they say and then I too jump and look and realize I am standing side by side with a long grey and yellow striped snake. She ducks as the snake turns and is telling me to watch out and as I go to move the snake lunges towards me and bites my hand. I feel the bite and then toss it off of me onto the floor and wake up looking on my bedroom floor to see if I see it as my hand is still tingling from the "bite".

I know that snake means enemy but I also know some symbols in a dream could mean other things so assistance is appreciated.

well the dream features coworkers so may actually be about some strong intuition about work. It also features a snake a symbol of deceit and bad emotions... jealousy. Then a daughter and best friend but you know of but never met.

Maybe putting all these symbols together it does link to work and the need to keep coworkers at arms length. Perhaps its not good to talk about really personal issues(like daughters or bf)and so the snake links to your need to watch these subjects and not talk openly

Is this something you feel to be true?If not then there maybe some alternative explanation. Just play around with these basic themes. What strong intuitions have you had which are similar....think back to the day before the dream especially

An eagle means a cruel politician or goverment man.
Snake means a hidden enemy apparently friend , your hand may mean your brother or sister, so someone will cause a hurt or a money loss your sibling.
