Default Being attacked by Warthogs/Wild Boars

Can I start by saying I absolutely love this site!!

Anyhow, I had a seriously strange dream the other night, I dreamt that the world was being attacked by wart hogs/wild boars.
Now, when I say 'the world', in my dream it felt like 'the world' but the whole dream was based in my family home.

The world was under attack, and just like in the movies, everyone was running and hiding, and I was in hiding in my family home.

We (as in me and my family) were hiding in our house, and had based ourselves in the attic.

We had been there for some while, and everything had gone quiet, so people started to think that maybe the warthogs had gone away. We could see down onto the street through a small gap we left at the window, and it was rainy and miserable and the streets were empty.

Next thing, my sister decided she had enough of being couped up in the house and she wanted to go out.

She went down the stairs and I was trying to stop her. She has a 1 yr old son and she had him in his buggy, ready to go out the door.

I ran down the stairs and just as she was about to open the porch (slidey glass doors) a wart hog came out of no where, like it had been lying in wait all this time, and it charged for the door. I screamed!

I pushed her back into the house and scrambled to pull the door closed and lock it, but as I was doing so the wart hog charged at the glass panel, again and again.

I managed to turn the lock and get back into the house.

It was around this time that I think I woke up a little bit because I remember feeling more alert, and I started to come up with a 'save everyone plan'.

I started to take the doors from the bedrooms and living room off their hinges and using them to board up the front door, back door and all the windows.

I got everyone back upstairs into the attic and took all the supplies we would need for a long stay.

The dream ended about there but I am absolutely dying to know what the warthogs represent, as I realise this was a pretty crazy dream.

Anyone got any ideas? I would really appreciate them.

Thanks a million!!

Well dreams often cook up some strange story lines. Yet often they will place in the story a single reference to a key emotion... often from the day before. Simply ask yourself

what ways do you want to save everyone?

Think about the day before? Dreams are about key feelings... so what frame of mind were you in then? Howdid you feel as if you were able to solve everything? How did people accuse you of such a feeling? That you know best?

If I was to guess then I would say it could have something to do with my job. I work as a retail manager in the Airport and I'm guessing the 'saving everyone' and coming up with solutions, etc, stems from that? I'm still fairly new to the job and under going a lot of training and appraisal reviews, so maybe that has something to do with it.

But actually, and I'm kinda thinking as I type here, my brother and sister have been asking me to help them with certain things, so maybe it could be a family issue?

It could be either issue. The best way to tell is to see which was particularly strong in your mind the day before? Or which was eveloping inn your mind as you woke.

The job issue does involve training and getting your head round concepts... thinking in new ways... this can easily cause dreams.

I know its not easy... normally this "saving everyone " would only have one meaning... especially if you look at the day before
