Really Obscure dream..

Hey there,
Last night i dreamt that i had returned after spending three years fighting in the iraq war and i was at my house or and odd rendition of my house and was with all my friends. We were enjoying a drink but several times i found myself bursting into tears in sorrow at a sad memory from the fighting. In one of these instances i hugged my best friend and just sobbed. My memory in the dream of the fighting consisted vividly of video game footage and footage from the news.
A few details that stand out in my mind and may be important:
My best friend was wearing my hoody at one point. It's a very noticable Aeropostale hoody, with black background and AERO written down the side in white.
We were drinking beer and even though i didn't feel like drinking i still managed to drink it all.
The main setting was my house/village but it was all different - it felt like home but didn;t look like home.
Before the main events of the dream a car was outside my house - it was a black 4x4 - and someone was in my house but after i went inside no-one was there.

Please help me find out what this all means, is the main thing on my mind at the moment. Thanks! x

Hi dreams often create a mood that lingers for some time. Here in the UK it was remembrance day on 11th November and there are lots of programmes about the various wars. You probably picked up on smething and dreamt about the waste of life and money.
