A casket filled with water.

I have had this dream about a man dieing that I feel a lot of feelings for. I heard from a friend that he died and I went to the funeral. All these people were there and I was hysterically crying. A woman that he is very close to and has had/has romantic ties to was there as well, but she was kinda sniffling but not crying. I was freaking out screaming crying and she's like "Why are you so upset, I was closer to him than you were..." I looked at her and was like "wtf, you have no idea how much he meant to me. I can't believe I'll never get to see him again. I can't ****in believe it."

It was pretty much the worst feeling imaginable, knowing someone that i cared about so much was GONE. He's someone I get antsy if I don't talk to every once in a while, I would go insane if i never could talk to him ever again.

It was also really awkward because the situation is such that I couldn't really EXPLAIN to anyone why he meant so much to me, so it was hell dealing with everyone being like "wtf u went that close to him, why are u so upset.... we knew him better and were closer." I wanted to punch everyone's lights out that said that.

After going through the long line of wierd glares and speeches about how I wasn't 'that' close, I get up to the casket to pay my final respects and he wasn't in there. Instead it was a casket filled with water, and where the head should of been there were little tiny steps

I asked where he was, that this was unfair--- I didnt even get the chance to pay my final respects. I freaked out and demanded to see him. They said they didnt have time to put him in the casket, but they WOULD bury him in the casket.

Some things happened after that but I dont quite remember. Some how I ended up skiing with a group of people and I noticed a body in the snow. It was a lady who was dieing of frost bite and I saved her by digging her out. She almost died in the snow and looked like she was ready to starve to death as well...

I hope anyone has some ideas of what this all means.

Did the people in the funeral wear black? Were the other people crying too?
if so... it means a wedding ceremony.
He was dead means he will have a problem solved.
crying means a happiness.
But if only people were there not wearing black means he will have a managing promotion and you will get very happy.

now that u mention it, the other people were dressed casually... That's part of the ****ed up part. People were kind sniffling and a little sad... but they weren't shocked or REALLY upset that he was dead. It was like. oh that sucks.... well damn, oh welll....

and the guy himself, he's an owner of a business, so he can't be anymore promoted LOL.

I don't know what your history is with this guy, so it makes it a little harder. But here goes anyway.

I think you have feelings for this person that weren't returned (instead of seeing him, you see what is essentially an empty swimming pool) and you have settled for being just a friend. I think you killed him off in this dream as a way to try and put closure on this relationship so that you can move on. Alternately, something has changed in his life or your which is has made the possibility of a relationship with this man impossible and now you need closure.

Everyone's comments at your reactions are likely what you feel they would be in real life. I think you are extremely upset in your dream because no one really knows how deeply you love this person, albeit from a far.

I think the woman in the snow is you. (You are out in the cold and love starved in this relationship.) I think it is encouraging that you have saved yourself. Perhaps you are working on a relationship that will bring with it some warmth for you.
