Escaping army battle, then stuck in shrinking elevator

I had the weirdest dream today, where I was inside a large boat hangar while there was a huge naval fleet docking. Then I found myself going to the elevator to go to the upper level. I can't remember if the elevator was moving, but the doors were closed and it kept shrinking while I was trying to press the buttons. When it came to the point where I was stuck between the elevator sides, I woke up.

This is really confusing me. Any idea what this dream means?

Well you describe this as a battle. You move upwards in the elevator so maybe you feel you need to rise above some conflict in your life.. some emotional battle

What about the elevator though? That part is intriguing me. Why was it squeezing me?

How do you feel squeezed in real life?

Often its difficult to say exactly what a dream means by the symbols alone. Its often easier for the dreamer. If this was my dream I could dismiss so many ideas very quickly. I would soon know what a dream meant. But a deam links to your feelings and thoughts... oftnen mixed in with real life facts and feelings... which I can never be able to guess.
