2 Volcanoes--One erupting, other smoking

Last night I dreamed that I was driving a blue car (i don't have a blue car) down a freeway and I wanted to get to what seemed like an amusement park only I missed the exit. Down the road I could tell that there were two volcanoes that were smoking heavily and as I was trying to exit the freeway to turn around, one of them erupted sending red hot rocks everywhere. Two small sized rocks landed on the hood of my car but a GIGANTIC rock landed right in front of my car. I was able to get the small rocks off my car by rocking it to the right. I narrowly missed getting squashed by the bigger rock, though.

Next, I can remember that I am now on foot with my dad in an urban setting. My dad and I argue about how we should get out of harms way. He wants to drive out and take the freeway and I want to walk through the city because I know that you can always walk into a building to avoid a downpour of molten rocks as opposed to being completely susceptible on the open freeway.

It was at this point where things get blurry and I can't remember the rest. I think I may have woken up at this point.

The whole dream was very vivid.

Can someone please help me interpret my dream?

Hi,
Your car means your work.Blue means christianity.
Two volcanos are two big men or bosses one who had smkes will be cruel.
The other erupted moltings means will spend money like two pieces of money in your car hood and a bigger one on your way.

This may take around two months to happen.

Dreams use symbolos to convey ideas and thoughts. They are probably linked to how we store thoughts. This is like a metaphor. Its showing maybe a choice. we have two choices... we can either get angry and completely lose our temper(erupt) or just simmer and get annoyed(smoking).

It either apllies to you or someone else... your father? Its your dreams way of saying "how should I behave"

I wondered if the volcanoes were actually a symbol for a Keno machine. So yesterday I went to the casino and won $100! Coincidence? Maybe.

The idea of the volcanoes representing a choice between either intense anger or just a simmer makes sense. I was really angry come bonus time last year.

The purpose of the dream, I think, was to show me the choices I had to leave those feelings behind. It presented me with two choices: 1) I can let the anger escalate to the point where it erupts; or 2) I can let it simmer. Both of these choices aren't necessarily good. The anger and resentment are still there just in different intensities. The next part of my dream dealt with how to escape from both volcanoes. I think that I still hold some resentment from being screwed over on my bonus last year. This part of my dream was trying to instruct me on how I can rid myself of that resentment and anger.

My idea to walk out of the city to take shelter in the buildings if we needed it, is a symbol for my current attitude. In other words, the attitude of "let's keep it safe and try not to piss anybody off and MAYBE I'll get a bonus and a promotion this year". It's like betting the minimum on each hand. You might win a little at the end of the night or you might only lose a little. My dad's idea was to throw caution out the window and take the freeway out of resentment and into happiness. In blackjack talk that would be like betting a lot to win a lot.

I think the bottom line was that my dream was telling me to not be a wuss, take a chance and don't hang on to the hand rail.

I think my dad represents the side of myself that is wise. But I still hope that the big rock that landed in front of my car represents a big pay day!

Well I tend to interpret dreams more in the here and now. They tend to link to brain functions. The symbols link to how we store ideas. Why would you be thinking about this issue from last year? Has it still been on your mind eating away at you? If yews then thats quite possible.

But I suppose it is a bonus this casino win in a way

Interesting dream....

I'd like to give my .02 cents on it if I may...basically I believe this is a warning dream letting you know of possible and potential dangers around you to avoid. Sometimes we are sent God-given dreams to warn and direct us in the direction we should go..you feel the urgent need to turn around in your car meaning this is a potential danger you are aware of and know you need to turn the other way. Its quite possible that your father in the dream represents your Heavenly Father advising you the best way to take which will be the quickest way out of that danger.

In short, I think the dream said:

You are wanting to get to the amusement park (happiness) but you missed it and you're headed straight into two volcanoes. The universe hit you with two small rocks, but if you're not careful you could get squashed by a HUGE one. You can either get back the hard way by walking and being more prone to danger; or you can take the freeway back in your car.
