dreaming of magical waters

the other night I had a dream a friend of mine and I got into a little boat, like a row boat but longer. we were going out on the ocean at night to witness lights produced by the water, (like aurora borealis?) we got to a certain section of the water and all of a sudden we were on sand, we could get out of the boat, like a little island. we got out and in the distance there was fog and saw the water and it was sparkling in fractals like when wind blows sand. I went to take a picture and the flash went off and I saw shadows of other people water skiing towards us. then we were in a gift shop, I was buying a scarf for my friend and I becuase it was slightly chilly. when I picked up my camera that I left on the shelf by the scarves, the battery was gone, so was the memory card. the people that were water skiing were there, I asked if they took the batery....and he smirked and said "no" in a non-convincing way, he then told me that the gift shop guy sells them, so I went to buy a new battery & memory card for the camera and the guy said NO but pointed to some disposable cameras......we went back to the water... then I woke up.
