A family party then Playing the Organ...help interperate plz?
I apologize for the length of this one...I usually remember a lot of the details and I think its more fun to include them. anyway, here it is:
I was with my dad's family. We were all in this nice restaurant. My dad was wearing a grey suit. We were celebrating his 50th birthday I think. Me and my sister were sitting together complaining about the family like usual. There was this big commotion and my grandpa left to go in another room. We could hear him swearing and throwing a hissy fit. So, to drown him out, my grandma started to clink her wine glass and began to make a speech. My grandpa got even angrier but she still went on. So, my grandma went on with her speech that (like usual) was unintentionally offensive and bitchy. during all of this I'm jokingly muttering my sister, "Oh my god, I'm gonna shoot myself. Seriously, just kill me now!" after my grandma's speech we started to sing happy birthday, but everyone kind of did it half-assed and eventually I just stopped singing. After that, we went back to my grandparent's house. My grandpa went to his room and i asked my grandma what he was doing. She said "Oh I got him an organ, the perfect way to keep him occupied and out of our hair." I went to go see his new organ, which actually was kind of old...it seemed like it was from the 40s or something. It was pretty big, but it wasn't one of those church organs. There was a feature where you could spin through a list of composers (like a jukebox) and then play the song. I wanted to play 'Claire de Lune' so I was looking for Debussy. I scrolled through numerous times, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Finally, I just asked my grandpa if he had it on there. Of course, he found it right away.
