Hello, im 15 years old and i had a rather disturbing dream last week....i was in my 3rd period class and my teacher was speaking and suddenly i felt drowsy, perhaps the sleepiest i've ever been. So I dosed off, and everything felt pretty normal, i was'nt even really dreaming, i was sorta in that half-awake state. then out of nowhere i heard a voice...but not just any voice, a rather unpleasant deep voice. wow....im getting shaky as im writing this. but anyway, it said something along the lines of "i am the(he said lord of hoard or something). I am taking over this body". so i panic in my sleep, trying furiously to wake up, i may have been hyperventilating. It kept talking, it was chanting something. Suddenly I felt REALLY tingly all over, like vibrating, yet i still couldn't wake up. So I did the only thing I could do, I prayed. Im not sure if it was natural instinct or my subconsciense, but a small voice in my mind said to pray, so I did. Then the voice laughed as if it was mocking me then said "do you think that will work"? The moment it said that, i woke up, but not normally. I threw my head back, eyes wide, as i gasped for air out load. Ever since then, i have been having some trouble sleeping, nervious that the voice may come back and just take over.

I just wanna hear any feedback, help, or similar stories...

You should look up Sleep Paralysis in this Forum, or in Nightmares. It sounds really similar...where you can not move at all but aware of your surroundings.

Sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience! You may wish to put it down to sleep paralysis or nightmares - I guess it depends upon what your views of sleep/dreams/other states of consciousness is. I am sure you could find all sorts of explanations on the web to help (or confuse!) you. Suffice to say your sub/super-conscious guided you to do what was necessary, which is good news indeed.

I understand your nervousness since this event. I know what you have gone through. I have also gone through this myself. On the plus side you probably are a lot stronger than you might imagine. If you have any other questions or concerns about this issue, please post again or feel free to PM me.
