dreaming of snakes

This is my second time having this exact dream. The first time was about two or three years ago. It started out with me waking up in a tree filled with various types of snakes. All around me there are women seducing men and they are also in snake filled trees. I climb down and approach this mountain. I began to climb the mountain looking for a way to get home but everytime I would reach for a rock to pull myself up I would grab a snake and immediatly throw it to the ground. As I get about half way up a huge snake streches from the ground and wraps itself around me and pulls me to the ground. I begin to sufficate and I reach I my pocket pull out a knife and stabbed the large snake in it's belly. The snake let go and slithers away. I stand up and start to walk through the dark valley. I approach this cave and a three headed black and red cobra jumps out in front of me. It strikes me two times and I begin to fight back. I cut off one of it's heads it gets angry and smacks me to the other side of the room I get up slice it in half and then I wake up. What does this mean?

last night i dreamt of 2 snakes. A patterned colored snake on my left and a green snake on my right. the patterned colored snake is obviously bigger than the green one... i see this as the bigger snake is a male and the smaller a female snake... i was alarmed initially when i saw it first but generally calm through out the dream. what's strange and odd, is the green snake started to eat what i perceive as manure. can't determine if it's from a human or an animal. Experts, i'll greatly appreciate it if you can help me determine what more or less this means? is treachery brewing behind my back? or it's already happenning. this is the 1st time i dreamt of something like this... thanks in advance. regards to all

Yours is a dream that shows that your perception of males as one of domination, and manipulation. I do not know if you are male or female but either way the perception is that the male gender is aggressive, demanding, and threatening. While Freud would have said something to the effect that this dream is sexual, and there may be some sexual overtones, but in all it is gender driven.
Now, I would suspect that perhaps you have had some negative experiences with males even in your family (tree so to speak). If so your mind takes this early observation and extrapolates this impression to all males in general.
In simple terms. Guys are a hassle and a pain sometimes and you really want nothing to do with them most of the time.

hi sailrmc! thanks for the response! anyway, i myself is a male... although i mentioned earlier that i perceived the bigger snake as a male and the smaller a female... this thought was concocted after i woke up as i was anlayzing what my dream meant... during my dream, the thought did not occured to me. i simply watch the snakes but no thought crossed my mind. also may i throw in that the scene in my dream happened at the back of my house. if this has any meaning??? does this dream is really only about my perception of males dominance over women? that's it? thanks again1

Well snakes tend to link to real life eotions and relationships. A snake could symbolise real life temptations... or lots of things. Dreams tend to link to real life situations often from the day before.

I've been having dreams about snakes wich I cant interpret myself so I was wondering if anyone here can help me the first part of the dream I was looking into a cage with 4 snakes 2 pythons one boa and the other I couldn't tell what type they were all living fine but then the second part one of the pythons was fighting the boa but I didn't see what happened it felt real tho I am pagan but I can't determine the meaning of this dream I would greatly apreciate it if some one can help me thanks
