broken skies and signs with same names

in my dream i was walking up the street from a friends house who had just recently moved(in the dream) and i came across the street sign. The street sign read Doe (like mine) and so did all the other street signs past it, except they where numbered. i continued walking up and looked at the sky to see that it was shattered like glass. i felt that it was weird and that's when 2 women that i have never seen before but only in my previous dreams, started to talk to me. everytime i turn away from the sky it seemed to fix it self until the break was gone, and then it split open in different areas. i had asked the women if it was wierd and they thought nothing of it. then a large bag filled with a floating gas, came down from the splits in the sky, to me and i grabbed on. i started to float up and down, still up the same street, and we were now infront of my house. Then exactly as i was woken up from my dog barking, one of the women said, "HEY! Who is there?"

i have a feeling the women represent my dogs, because of the similiar ways they acted. but i'm stumped on the broken sky and bag part. please help interpret.
