I dreamt of Ravens last night

Last night I had a dream I was trying to get away, I can't remember from what now, but I was with others and we were trying to get down a river. A huge raven swooped over us and then flew up to us. It was the same size as I was and it hovered before me flapping it's wings so i remembered that my husband had taught me to stand up to a Raven and open my arms up and flap them to scare it away. This did not work it came closer and i became very frightened. i can't remember what happened next but we ( and i can't remember who the we was) were still trying to get away and then a raven flew over us and flew to the trees. We could see movement in the tree tops and it pulls out a black object, from the trees. The object looked like a blanket and it held it in it's talons. It flew towards us and then threw it at us the object fell like a blanket then flipped open and it was a black image of a raven, it looked almost like art and it fell into the water with a splash. The flying raven was gone and we ran again along the side of the river. I was leading everyone and I said "it's gone we can go now." we got a ways and then the flying raven came back with another object in it's talons. This looked similar to the first and it threw it at us again. It flipped open and it too was a black raven that looked like one you would see in native art or on a totum. It's head was turned the opposite direction from the first one. It hit the water with a splash. I was very afraid and when i woke I felt like it was a nightmare.

i have been thinking about it all day and I have asked my husband if he knows the meaning of Raven dreams. He is Inuk and we live in the Arctic.

Yesterday as we were sitting outside together enjoying the sunset two raven flew over head and their wings made a very loud swooshing sound. I commented that their wings must be wet.

At the time we were discussing how we have been arguing a lot lately and then we began to discuss what we need to do to fix things. We made a joke by each talking about our own issues at the same time so we could not hear each other and we spoke quickly without stopping to hear the other person, we laughed as we tried to put our own concerns on top of the other person's. We laughed at ourselves and then when we stopped the Ravens flew by.

Any thoughts on what this presence of Ravens in my life means?
