Sentenced To Death Row

I was on a deserted road with several young boys, which I had become a young boy myself. It was dark and there was a wagon with bars waiting to take us away to be hung. Each one of us had our names written on the road in black and were told to stand over top of our names. When the arresting officer came to me, he told me to leave quickly. However, I stayed because I saw my name written in black. I knew that I could run away, but I had the feeling that I would be on the run forever. Also, I thoought to myself that I had asked God to die and this was how he was going to accomplish that so I stayed and walked inside the wagon. As I sat down on the floor, I wandered how it would feel to die by hanging. There was one small blonde haired boy who was scared and crying that he had done nothing wrong. Then I noticed a bigger black haired boy who pushed him down and told him that we all deserved to die. At this point, I became very angry and stood up and faced him. I shook my finger at him and pointedly asked him what right he had to be judge and executioner. His eyes got real big and he stammered and sputtered. I got into his face and told him that none of us did anything that deserved such a cruel fate and I pushed him out the door. As soon as I did, I barred wagon became a roller coaster that sped down the hillside and up the next one. Then we flew into space before it descended and sped down the opposite direction. When it stopped, the boys got off and I was an adult. I told the boys to go home and not to let this kid get to them again.
As I walked down the road, I noticed that several snowbanks were melting and that it was beginning to warm up.

If dreamt people cut the hands of a man and hanged up another man means a man will be deposed and another one will be appointed.
If dreamt a man was hanging up and people were watching means the man will be a manager for a group of people.
If there was nobody to watch means he will receive some dignity and rank but he isn't regarding the morals.
If dreamt was eating the flesh of a hanged up man means he will earn money from a manager.
If dreamt he was hanged up and his body was bleeding means he will commit a sin and speaks behind the back of people.
To be hanged may also mean : 1- a directorship 2- money 3- generosity 4- Speaking behind the back of people.

Considering how long people sit on death row, it is probably not too far fetched to suggest that old age is the way most of them do go. Given a choice I would prefer not to go from old age. The gas chamber sounds like a nice way.

Actually, I always wondered why there is so much carrying on about the means of execution. For hundreds of years, hanging was good enough. Now for some reason it is frowned upon. I wonder how much the governments could collect by having nice public hangings and charging admission--say $25. Hold the hangings in the football stadiums. 100,000 attendance at $25 would be $2.5 million plus refreshments and souvenirs. There are probably enough people on death row that they could have events every week. Maybe even a double header. Maybe ABC would even like to buy the rights, another $50 million. They could drag the event out for an hour easily having a pre-execution interview with the condemned, interviews with the survivors of the victims, a review of the crimes committed.

Don't give the TV execs any ideas! One of the other major netowrks would probably air the program against Monday Night Football. When I toured the old WV Penitentary at Moundsville, WV I learned that in WV that hanging used to be the method of execution and people used to make a day of it by packing picnic lunches and such. However, one one of the condemned prisoner's head popped off and another one had to be rehanged many times so the state stopped letting the public gather. Then later on in the 20th century, the state had one of the prisoners build an electric chair. I believe the prisoner was placed in isolation for his safety. Then I think the death penalty in WV was discontinued in the 1950's. Luckily, our state still has one of the lowest crime rates in the country. This has been the history lesson for today.
