I keep having this dream
I keep having this dream that the girl that I had been dating for 3 years [we broke up last year+][I broke up with her if that would make a difference] came up to me and randomly starting talk to me again. Then she tells me that she isn't allowed to talk to me anymore and that it would be best if we never even saw each other again.

I have to agree with Wolf on this one. Although you broke up with her...part of you is jealous that she is moving on. It is sort of the syndrome I believe we have all had at one point in our life...."I don't want him/her...but I don't want him/her to be with anyone else." Try to be happy for her...so you can set yourself free.

You maybe jelous in some kina way is one good theory or becuase you might have wanted her to ''worship you'' so to speak, come begging for you to take her back, or you may see her situation as something you want for yourself, you may do something she has done or meet someone like her in the near future to sum up my point you will have an experience related to some aspect of her. Sounds like she turned the tables, she got in your head. Now you have to figure out what is really going on as to why you dream of her and set it free. The only problem is the relationship took such a huge junk of your past that it ate into your memory and you got experience that will last forever.
