Hi there, I did post something similar to this a while ago, but just wondered, as it has changed somewhat... I am having dreams with increasing frequency where I have a loud shout (sometimes my name) that wakes me up, I am usually in a deep sleep when this happens. I know the people whose voices are calling me, some are dead and some are alive in real life. I also have been having quite a lot of deja vu lately as well. Any ideas, please???

Well I don't know what is causing it, but I went through something similar. It still happens once in a while. Usually for me it is crying like a baby or a child, but I hear shouting of my name too. I also usually experience dejavu around the times that I have those occurences. I am not sure why either, but I can tell you your not alone in this.

Is there perfect silence where you sleep. Any background noises... radios or TVs left on. These can all be integrated in sleep and dreams. If so then its just your mind making up a symbol which expresses your thoughts... eg is that a burglar?
But the dream could easily have some other meaning. Dreams refer to real life in terms of very loose symbolism. Its amazing that any dreams can be interpreted. ----------------------------- Dreams feature symbols that are very general. A fight for instance will symbolise some struggle or frustration that you are facing in real life. We all face struggles in life and only the dreamer can pinpoint the exact meaning of the dream. A politician struggles to get his views accepted. A sportsman struggles with an injurey that is affecting his performance. What you must do is find your own truth within the dream. Think about the day before and think about the things on your mind recently. Then you will realise what the truth of the dream is. You will realise what this very general message means. The dream brings your emotions to life but often within a storyline that is nonsensical. But those emotions felt in the dream are very real. They may be about your life in general but then again it maybe about something very specific. Sometimes the struggles and fights depicted within a dream may surprise you if correctly interpreted. They may be linked to something that you would not expect to have a dream about. Many dreams maybe about seemingly mundane matters. But most daily issues at the time are extremely important(at the time). Well if there are no loud moises around you then it could be an ordinary symbolic dream. Maybe it means you feel a little disrupted at the time of the dream. Unable to settle?
------------------------ Its amazing how good the TV reality show Big Brother is in understanding dreams. Occasionally contestants discuss their dreams. The cause of dreams is usually hidden in the events and feelings from the day before. The show itself highlights any pyschological changes within the contestants. They pick up on little changes in behavior and they interview the contestants on a daily basis. Dreams tend to symbolise new thoughts and feelings. They may link to some new thought being clarified within the dreamers mind. The whole days activity is crammed into a one hour show at night and so any changes in the contestants are neatly cut into sound bite size. The meaning of any one dream could even be traced back to one TV clip where a contestant actually says what is on their mind. They cannot hide from the cameras. The inner workings of their mind are on total view. Even the slightest smile or frown is picked up.
