Default I slowly loose my teeth

Hi,

I have this recurrent dream in which for no reason (apparently) I begin to loose my teeth one by one. At first one will crack and break into pieces and then as the dream goes on I start loosing them a few at a time but they don't crack anymore, i just feel they are sort of loose and pull them out with my fingers. I feel mortified but then somehow I go like...oh whatever, I'll get them fixed. I'm never alone in this dreams, usually my mother is with me but she doesn't say anything or react to it...I just tell her whats going on but I can't remember her saying anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi, I use to dream of the similar thing, however, not sure if it means anything speicific. Maybe you have a tooth problem? Maybe cause it is a bit pain in your teeth and the pain is exagerated in your dream?

Hi,
This is a waking dream. You normally dream these dreams near morning when you're ready to wake up. It has been drilled into you to look after your teeth, and your subconscious uses the idea of losing them to wake you. Perhaps you're frightened of losing your looks and radiant smile. The cost of the dentist is another factor that might wake you!
Cheers Wolfjk

Dreams mirror real life. Try to interpret the dream yourself. Often dreams are linked precisely to feelings that you had the day before or your current frame of mind.

What issues would you have liked to have talked to your mom about? What issues were making you feel disturbed ... worried and mortified? What was on your mind?

Its likely that it just links to some feeling that you just had. It may even have been a worry that you have since dismissed. Dreams do not portray reality. Instead they portray the reality as it exists inside our own heads.

-----------------------------
The father of modern dream interpretation is not Freud or Jung but rather Jon Winson. But he never made a single dream interpretation. Instead he conducted research into the mind and established that certain brainwaves (theta waves) only appear during the night time. During the day we store up all new experiences and feelings in short term memory. Then at night we start to work through what happened the previous day and we integrate these into long term memory blocks. Then finally we clear short term memory blocks ready to start the process again the next day. Its likely that any dreams we have are linked to these brain functions. The weird images and feelings once deciphered capture our own feelings and new insights into the world around us. So the dreams then will often link to specific events from the day before and to new ways in which our world has been reshaped. It may simply link to our paranoias and fantasies. If we are focused on something about to happen in the near future then the dreams may link to that. Each dream captures one specific feeling or thought process.

When you want to receive God's message via your dream symbols you need to look at what God designed the symbol for. In the case of teeth, teeth are used to chew food. They represent something we were given by which to process our food or "our food for thought". When food or new ideas come our way, we use our existing intelligence - the knowledge and information we already have - to make new ideas understandable. Thus teeth represent the intelligence you possess by which to process and incorporate new food for thought or new ideas. When the teeth start to crumble it implies that the intelligence being used is not sound and you cannot rely upon it to process and make sense of new data. It can also suggest that the knowledge or information you have does not meet the requirements of the situation; that your intelligence is not holding up.

What comes out of a person’s mouth in dreams is usually related with the words being spoken. The teeth becoming loose and then pulling them out can relate with our expression, “it’s like pulling teeth”, meaning that it is very difficult to get information out of a person. In this scene, because the teeth are so loose, it is not difficult to pull them out. This can suggest that you are revealing information much too readily. Note how this can also be regarded as a loss to your overall appearance of intelligence (as you are now missing teeth).

Your mother represents your emotional nature and belief system. In this scene, your beliefs are not reacting to your observation of the above issues – that of crumbling and falling out teeth.

On a physical level of interpretation, the teeth can be used to represent friends and acquaintances on whom we rely for our information. [Are you losing friends?]

I can't remember if this was in fact a waking dream for me... but it is not a nice dream for sure. I do worry about my teeth...but not that much i would say... to be dreamign about them.

Hi,

Yes i´m losing friends. I moved 9 months ago to another country and I miss my friends and family big time... I need them really bad and much to my surprise they need me as bad. (I didn't knw I was that important in their lives).

I do feel like im not as intelligent as i used to be plus i have trouble multitasking...i can only focus on one thing at a time (it wasnt always like this)
Im also afraid of growing up i guess...i read loosing teeth in dreams can mean you are going back to your milk teeth age.

im 26 years old and i don't feel as good as i did when i was 20.
