Sewing dresses by order!

This is a bit of an old dream, but I have always wondered what it meant. I was about 10 when I dreamt this I think, and at the time it was so scary that I didn't want to go back to sleep:

I was told by the Germans to sew 28 (can't exactly remember the number to be honest) dresses by the next morning or they would kill me.

Any thoughts?
