I had a very vivid dream last night where I found myself in a plane. Suddenly there is turbulence and the pilot says that the plane is heading for a crash landing. At that moment I realize that I don’t even have a seat on the plane (which is quite weird). I notice a vacant seat at the front section of the plane and somehow manage to sit down (taking into account all the turbulence). I take a pillow and keep it in my lap, and as I am about to put my head onto to prepare for the landing, I think what will happen if plane comes to a halt and throws me back? I might hit the head rest of the seat and break my neck, so what I do is I remove the cushion from the vacant seat beside me and put it at my back to cushion me from a backward impact.
The plane is heading for a hillside which is cut in steps just like a staircase. It’s covered with green grass, the plane lands with a thud, and then skids, and begins bumping up-and-down as it clears one step of the hill after another. It finally comes to a halt in a clearing on the hill top; there are green firs trees around the clearing and green grass all over. It looks really beautiful. The next thing I see is that I am standing in the cockpit and there are no pilots there. I think that the plane might explode, and I notice a big escape door in the cockpit which I slam into and open it. I notice there is another door on the other side of the cockpit which a fellow passenger has opened as well. I step out from the door which I have opened, and realize that I can’t run away – as is the normal idea. I am standing outside the open hatch on the green grass. Although I can not see anybody inside the plane, I am shouting out to passengers – “this hatch is open, run, get out, and save your lives”. At the same time I worried that the plane might explode but I can’t gather the courage to escape without getting people out. The important thing to note is that although I am terrified in the dream, I don’t feel afraid or panic. While dreaming I did feel uncomfortable, uneasy, but the general feeling was that I am a silent spectator of the flow of events. I am actually looking out of the window as the plane is crash landing. However, the dream was frightening enough to wake me up in the middle of the night and has left me uneasy all day. I would like to know what this dream means, and would like some advice if this means something negative is about to happen. |

well there has been a plane crash today with many killed. Although I do believe in premonitions I would tend to think this was not one. A plane crash is not really important enough to generate a dream. Its just really a news item. You will never probably meet any of the people involved.
I think that it could reveal your state of mind at present. Try to think what could have triggered this dream. I know its not easy. Often dreams get triggered by events or emotions from yesterday. Is there some dangerous situation you are in right now? Can you opt out of the danger ? What about thoughts on your mind last night? any fantasies involving danger and the need to escape. I know from my own dreams that they can be linked to many different types of things. Its difficult to get across how dreams work. They often link to quite trivial little moods. the moods that are here today and gone tommorrow ------------------------ "That printer. It cost a fortune and is always breaking down. I will never buy another Epson printer again. They are designed to break down". These were the exact feelings that one dream captured. Yet its only with experience that you can understand the symbolism. The topic was not linked to precisely. We tend to link dreams to faraway places and other planes of existence. But once you understand dreams you will find out that they tend to link to feelings that are all too familiar. They capture immediate feelings about relationships or the general frustrations of life. The symbolism maybe diufficult to understand. But tahts simply because dreams talk in a language that we do not fully understand. That is made worse because dreams often make no attempts to help us understand their meaning. Hi,
A plane means a business group as big as the seats of the plane. If crashed the business will lose some dignity. A hill means a big man to help.
