Snake in BED

I was about to get in to bed. since the bed is covered with quilt (in my dream- lucid state) i remove the quilt. the sheet is of white in colour . suddenly i notice a snake comfortably sleeping on my bed under the quilt. I think for a second if i can get any assistance, finally pul out the snake and throw it outside the bedroom. I saw again in continuation of my dream that b4 i throe i am holding black snake in my fist (middle part) and somehow the snake bite my fist (as if its swallowing) i pull it out again and trow it outside and close my bedroom door. I know that snake is glued on the door and it's not moving so i wonder how to open the door. there is a girl (stranger) in my dream who comes to my bedroon to see the snake but not much of help.

Hey,

I'll have a go at this one since noone has replied as yet. Perhaps you have some hard things to go through in life or are worried about something at the moment? Apparently snakes (among other things) can mean difficult times. I see snakes as something that most people fear and therefore seeing it in your dream perhaps it's your subconscious putting a snake image in the place of the real worry.

As the snake is in your bed and looking comfortable there, maybe there is a bad habit or quality in your life that you need to look at. Something that has become comfortable in your most private part of yourself..?

With the girl standing there that doesn't help - perhaps it means this is something that you need to go through on your own/manage on your own. Or perhaps it could show that people around you could be a bit useless in helping you in this particular problem and you will need to just take charge.

I think the information is quite clear to me is there's some difficulties in your family environment. I think the hidden enemy is your boyfriend/husband? Coz the snake is under the quilt. And it seem that the enemy can hurt you coz it bites. But you got rid of it, coz you through it out of the door, however, it still bothers you coz it is not going away. So I think you should be prepared to overcome some hard time. Just be careful about the person in your real life coz it may hurt...The little girl part I am not very sure-does it mean some witness?
I dreamed of a snake before and it was tricky hidding on the top of my car, then tried to squiz into my car window while I was driving. Then I dicided to crash my car and killed the snake. In real life, my boss-the snake, accused me of not finishing the job properly, then I argued with him, but eventually, he didn't get me into trouble...

Thank so much for the responses that i have received so far and each of them have a valid point. I just wanted to share that i hate reptiles .... but i always c snake in lucid state - snake with its hood. it has never harmed me neither there's any movement. Its more of an image which eventually i considered to be a totem animal. this is my first dream in action with a snake.
If quilt means BF/husband then i do have someone special in my life. Initially his folks tried to break our ties but did not succeed. According to him things are in our favour . Well he stays miles apart and there is a possibility of his visit in a month or two which has not firmed up yet. I have not been thinking of him or marriage at all…. So I am surprised of the meaning of quilt. I somehow felt that his sister played a major role in tying to break us up so am not really sure of this girl in my dream but we are in good terms now… I know my BF will not leave me no matter what it takes and we have come through hard times so nothing really matters for us

I just wanted to mention one thing that I was not hurt with the bite but the feeling was yucky…. it’s a reptile. I have no guts to even go near it so I am surprised how cld I throw…and I am constantly thinking of my next move.. cld be some kind of strategy I suppose. But some how I cannot link it to my personal life.

I had recently made a lot of noise at my workplace as I did not approve of someone’s behaviour…that has been sorted out now.

Well bedrooms tend to relate to issues which for you are very very personal. What about this issue at work. I know its not to do with your personal life but if this persons behavior is intrusive and if you take what he says on a very personal basis then that could have caused the dream. It could still be on your mind and every one elses mind.

And snakes are classic symbols for poisoned atmospheres. so if workplace has been difficult then its likely that this issue caused your dream.

Right! I had issues with my subordinate's (who is a girl) behaviour and the girl presence i see in my dream is not much of help. snake and girl cld be the same person i suppose

Yes - That sounds like exactly the issue that would cause the dream. It could be a dream showing your own assessment of this situation. Either that you detect snake like emoitons with your subordinate. Or that you detect sharp feelings within yourself. It could also simply mean that you sense a poisined relationship building up - a bad atmosphere.

Either way if you have ANYTHING in your present life that remotely links to snakes and their symbolic meaning then go with it. Its pointless worrying if this could be a premonition. It has a perfectly rational explanation.
