the dead and their treasures
I dont know if I have this dream interpretation thing down, but I think I know what my dream meant. would very much appreciate clarification if Im wrong. I had a dream in which I was invited to a grand house more like a farm house, modest but clean and cozy. I was seated at a table among people I dont know. At the foot of the table was an old man, handsome and regal but also very old and sick. He raised his arm to quiet everyone and said he was near death and would like to give us all a gift before he left this earth. The table was then filled with all kinds of precious jewels. In the comotion I was only able to grab one. Although beautiful I still wanted more. The old man then pulled me aside and told me in secrecy...that he had an even more wonderful gift in store for me. That he had a treasure far more valuable than the jewels and that it was going to be mine for being a good person. He then gave me some papers which I understood to be real estate he owned and worth a lot of money. He then told me to hide my treasure and not let anyone take it away, that it was mine to keep and to never let anyone tell me it was worth nothing. Finally, that he would watch out for the treasure and me even after death. I felt honered and this is when I woke up. The old man I knew in the dream was my boyfriends dead grandfather whom my boyfriend loved a lot and was sad to loose. SO my theory is that the treasure he confided in me was my boyfriend. The treasure worth a lot was my boyfriend because in life he had ment so much to his grandfather. Am I right? or completely wrong? what if anything does my dream mean?
p.s.
by the way when I described the old man to my boyfriend tears welled up in his eyes and he told me that I described his grandfather perfectly even though I had never even seen a picture of him.
