Hi,
If a buffalo or a cow hit your father and fell him down means your father will lose some of his digity and position at work. Your grandmother alive in your dream means something difficult or got forgotten for you will be ok.

The end of your dream shows that you have been given valuable information...(the check for $50. and the presence of your grandfather...symbolising wisdom.
Now we have to figure out the significance of your father being hit by the buffalo? One symbolism of the buffalo is, that it is a life force that is both independent and strong. With this in mind, I see it as saying that because your father is independent and strong (of mind or body...whichever applies) he is making life difficult for those in his midst. Now it is you that must make the call since you know you father. If you are Native American the buffalo may have spiritual meaning instead of what I have suggested. See what you think, Sailrmc |

I read somewhere that a good number of dreams deal with the fear of death and that this fear is pacified through a spaced repetition of subconscious messages that bring to our awareness that death is in fact, part of life.
Perhaps your dream shows the reality of the fact that time passes on and as it does the old will someday realize or come to understand their mortality while their offspring will carry on. I believe that your dream is not prognosticating death specifically but it explores the notion that some day we will all die and the young will carry on. While this awareness seems rather pointless or mundane since we all are aware that death is part of life, the mind reminds us of the certainty of such things. When we add up all of the awaeness' that the subconscious mind facilitates the total sum is profound. Such thoughts build a significant base of understanding that we can build and plan our lives around. I feel certain that your father is ok. If this dream would have been precognative the symbolism would have appeared differently. sailrmc |
