Default Cobra bites both palms

Hi, I'm new at this and after reading some other responses to dream posts, I am very intrigued as to what the forum has to say to me.

Two nights ago I dreamt that I was bitten through the palms of both my hands. I felt the razor thin fangs pierce my skin (all in slow-mo) and one of the snakes (I think there were two) bit me twice. One was brownish and the other more black.

They were released from a charmer's basket by my husband who thought he could perform the cobra kiss (an actual kiss atop the head of the cobra while it is poised to strike) without being bitten. He was not bitten, but I was.

I felt regret that he had not listened to me and agony from the bites. I knew I would soon die in the dream because no one could survive several cobra bites. I also remember hearing in an Australian accent (which means we were there or that I watched too much Crocodile Hunter) that "one bite of cobra venom is enough to kill a grown man".

What does it mean? I don't know of anything that I fear my husband isn't listening to me over.

The dream meant that you had some pain in your hands. What were you doing the day before the dream that should have caused pain or cramp in your hands? It is also passible that you lay on your hands too long and had pins-and-needles.
Cheers Wolfjk

hi,
A snake means a hidden enemy apparently friend, if bite means you will have a loss.
your palms were injured means you will be hindered from a travel in two months time.

If one dreamt he was rubbing his palms to each other means he will separate from the family and relatives.
Some interpreters say if he was clapping means there will be a wedding ceremony.
If dreamt his palms were injured means he will lose a travel.
If dreamt his palms were open and powerful means he will get rich.
If dreamt his palms were closed and weak means he will have short of money.
Palms may also mean :1- wealth 2- money 3-position 4- child 5- braveness 6- having sex immorally or cheating.

Snake is interpreted as a hidden enemy, if dreamt a snake at home means one of the family members will do something annoying. If it was in a desert means an stranger enemy. If dreamt he was fighting with a snake means he will quarrel with a rival or an enemy. If the snake bit him means that person will overcome him .If he killed the snake means he will overcome the person. If dreamt he was eating snake flesh means he will receive some dignity and rank or if he is suitable perhaps a lordship. If one dreamt he cut a snake in two parts means he will have the enemy's money. If one dreamt a dead snake means he will be safe from a calamity. If dreamt he took a white or gray snake in hand means he will receive some greatness. If dreamt the snake ran away from him means his enemy is weak.If dreamt about many black snakes means he has many rivals or enemies. If dreamt about a green snake means his enemy is pious and honest. If it was yellow means his enemy is an ill person or a doctor. If the snake was red means his enemy is sociable. If dreamt there were snakes around him means his family and relatives are his enemies. If dreamt there was coming out a snake from his mouth or nose or ear or hissex organ or his anus means his child is his enemy. If he took a snake but it didn't bit and he wasn't hurt means he will have some dignity and will overcome the enemy and will achieve his wish.Snake may also mean : 1- hidden enemy 2- life 3- health 4- kingdom 5- lordship 6- a woman 7- a wish 8- a son 9- a flood.

Snakes are a sign of Luck because they are an animal of Lord Shiva.

Cool Hi

Hi, bit of an older post so maybe you will still look back?
I would say that it means that there is one thing that you have warned your husband that you could not tolerate. It would be your weak point and the one thing that could bring you down. You are not sure that you would be able to handle it. It seems to be a dream of an insecurity that you have so it doesnt mean that it has or ever will happen. Take care.

To gain a proper perspective of this dream one must take a step or two back and see what it happening.
From that which has been said, I see that the dream is rather straight forward...in saying that you are suffereing for actions that are not of your doing. Perhaps this is an understatement because the symbolism and architecture of the dream show that you are suffering to the core. Something or someone has taken a risk (typically when this dream is presented the risk is either business related AND OR... someone close to you has done something to jeopardize their relationship (in your case marriage), thus the dreamer pays DOUBLE). You pay double because a foolish risk was initiated. which you had little to no control of and then when the dominoes fall (so to speak) you are among the rubble.

Now keep in mind that dreams do not lie (they simply reveal feelings and emotions regarding that which has been observed by the subconscious mind, which collects complete data from waking life). The subconscious mind collects the data, evaluates it and presents it as a presentation that was painstakenly scripted, cast and directed just for you. In an effort for this data to be recognized and brought to consciousness the dream is fashioned to make a profound inpact upon waking. It appears that your dream was successful in this endeavor.
What to do now?
Think about what I have said and ovelay it to your life. Ask yourself how you are affected by your husbands decisions or behavior. From your dream it looks as if there are areas of your life in which you lack control. The dream intimates just this point...evaluate your situation and see how you may become more involved in the decisionmaking that affects you.

The kiss of death that is portrayed and shows that profound risk is being assumed...your dream shows that you are the one that suffers for the risks (what ever they are) that are being taken.
peace,
sailrmc
