Texas and northern California Burn

The dream that I had last night took the form of a newscast. I wasn't an active participant, only an observer. The first part took place in northern California from the Nevada border westward to the Pacific Ocean. There were a series of fires that firefighters could not get control over. Everything in the path of the fire burned especially orchards. However, the fires were said to be beneficial to southern California.
Meanwhile, in Texas firefighters were also battling blazes that were burning out of control, but to compound the problem, a Boeing Jet crashed killing passengers and firefighters. I remember seeing a yellow fire engine exploding.
