White wolf appreaed in my backyard...

I don't usually dream - at least not that I recall - so was hoping someone might help me interpret the meaning of a dream I had last night. Here goes... I was at my house (it was nighttime) and something prompted me to go outside on my deck. My house is a split level so the deck is above and overlooks the backyard. There are no steps or any way to get down. In the yard was a large white wolf. My three dogs followed me out onto the deck, but only one barked. After seeing the wolf, I put them all back in the house. The wolf never growled or scared me. I don't recall any speaking, but somehow I asked what he was doing and he said he was digging a hole. Then another wolf (not white, possibly dark grey or black) appeared and the digging commenced. I came inside the house and went to sleep ( I think). When I got up in the morning one of my dogs was hanging off of the deck. He wasn't choking or anything, just swinging there and I was able to pull him up to the deck and cut the string that had suspending him and everything was fine. There was a huge mess and hole in my yard. Any idea what all this might mean? Thanks so much for your interpretation help!
