Exclamation Any Ideas? Transformations: Cat-Child-Woman

Any opinions or ideas on this are greatly appreciated. I can't figure out what this dream is saying, but it feels like it could be something big. Thanks.

It was night, or at least it seemed like it should be. Looking up I saw no sky, only unnatural darkness, like a giant metal canopy was over the area I was in. I was standing next to and then under a bridge, and at the same time my surroundings seemed to be only alleyways. Mostly everywhere were strong shadows contrasting with the washed out glow of mercury lamps and street lights. I figured it might be some kind of industrial section of the city. I could hear cars off in the distance, and the sound of the rain. People came and went by, every once in awhile. They were almost completely covered in shadow, their faces hidden. They wore drab colored clothes, long jackets.

I was standing there under the bridge watching over a black kitten( the kitten had followed me out from under the bridge. I was happy for the company.), it's bright green eyes caught the light now and then as it chased mice and wandered around curiously. Time passed and the cat became a little girl with long straight black hair, bangs in the front. She wore an old-fashioned black dress and had skin as pale as milk. I wasn't surprised at the transformation for whatever reason, but felt sad for her all alone this late on a dark corner of the street. The people passing, though covered in shadow, seemed to be staring at the girl and me in disgust. I felt that I needed to stay and watch over her. I returned their dirty looks with a fierce glare and they walked away. I lit a cigarette to calm my nerves.

The child sat on her knees, playing with something she'd found. It was a small white mouse. She pulled it up to her face cupped in both hands and swallowed it whole. She leaned forward, curling into a ball and arching her back. Slowly she rose up moving strangely, like an animal. A full grown woman in a faded black cloth cat suit, the tail moved as if it were an actual cat's.(The "suit" looked shabby, like someone just stitched it together quickly. It was formfitting but not tight.) This transformation left me paralyzed, I couldn't blink, let alone move. She stood tall stretching out, yawning innocently. As she stretched her head back the cat hood dropped, as well as the rest of the outfit. Long flowing black hair hung down her to the bottom of her back. Instead of being straight and fine, it was slightly wavy this time. Her skin was slightly less pale than the child's, and had something like a purple tint under the surface. Her body was slender but her features were full. Looking back at me I saw eyes of the same green as the kitten, and a small splash of blood around her mouth. She smiled at me with her eyes.

More people passed, this time I knew they too were awestruck by the woman. They had stared at the child in disgust, but the woman got some sort of shock out of them, whether it was fear or her beauty. Her face had both a look of innocence and deep wisdom. She approached, leaning up against me with her head on my shoulder and left hand on the other. The sound of a cat's purr came from her throat, and set soft vibrations to my chest. I could hear my heart beating, but I wasn't nervous or scared. I was confused, but at that moment, I didn't mind so much. I felt like something important had just happened, and that somehow the woman and I were a lot alike.

Manny,
About an hour ago I posted a reply to your dream. I have come back to see if had been a response and my post as vanished?? Not sure what has happened. As usual it was pretty lengthy but it did not exceed the character constraints. I hope it shows....
It may have been a bit contraversial, but not out of line or in poor taste at all.

Let me try this again, but first I would like to know if you are male or female? It looks as if it will make a difference in the interpretation.

I didn't see anything aside from these two posts, and if there is a feature to delete unwanted posts, it's not one that I know about. Maybe it was either some kind of technical trouble or an administrator deleted it(you said it might be "controversial"). And you asked if I was male or female: I'm male.
