I dreamt I was at the side of a body of water, like a beach, on a dock, with my coworkers. We needed to analyze some paperwork, but in order to do that objectively (without bias) we each could only evaluate cases that we had no knowlege about and had not previously worked on. My boss was there, a tall skinny white man, but he had on this girlish oversized purple crotched sweater. He was smiling and wimpy looking (he always looks wimpy anyway). So the receptionist from my job was passing out the paperwork to ensure objectivity. After I got mine, I went and sat down in a chair next to an obese woman. I didn't really know her, but she was nice enough.

Then it seemed like we were about to engage in a competition as a part of the evaluation. A ping-pong ball was thrown into the ocean and a few of us younger folks, including me, jumped in after it to retrieve it. The water was clear blue and serene. It was a peaceful task. My coworker and I both grabbed for the ball once at the ocean floor, and he got it. It was ok though because we were working in teams and he was on my team. It didn't matter that I was not the one to get the ball. My team got the ball. We swam to shore and got out. Other coworkers congratulated and applauded us for a job well done. It was like we completed a task we were given and we felt good about it.

Any ideas?

Swimming means working but with a little tricks.

I had another water dream I was in a big wave pool with my sister. We had big black inner tubes we used to float with, but the water was shallow enough for us to stand up in. The pool was connected to a dormitory of rooms with bathrooms, sort of like college. My sister and I were hanging by the side of the wave pool farthest away from the dormitory. My roomate from my first year in college walked up in her bathing suit and towel. She looked 15 years younger like back when we were in school. She is also from my hometown, but in waking life she now lives in NY near my sister. Anyway, I had to urinate so I put my innertube up on the edge of the pool out of the water and told them to watch my stuff while I go to the bathroom. I sort of swim walked across the pool and entered a door on the left to get to the dormitory bathrooms. I asked a lifegaurd or pool guard which way to go and he told me there were six bathrooms to the left and some others to the right.

Once inside the dormitory, I did not see the bathroom. An older white woman who reminded me of Joan Rivers (an old famous American comic) pointed me to one single bathroom to my left. I went to open it and I heard a woman say she was inside so I quickly closed the door and apologized. I didn't see the woman though. Joan Rivers told me to be careful about getting any of the women in the dorm upset because one of the girls is still upset with Joan about something. So I waited in Joan's room for the bathroom to free up. In the meantime, Joan put on some clothes as if she was preparing to leave. I saw that she had a sanitary napkin on through her pants and I wondered by a woman that old would need that. I was puzzled by why this woman, Joan, was there in the dorm. Maybe she was the dorm mother. Maybe she was an image of me at an older age.

Any ideas?
