Horse Meat

I dreamt that I was somewhere with my coworkers. It was sort of dark with a hint of red lighting. I think we were sitting in rows of seats. In the backs of the seats were either horses or horsemeat. I opened the latch of the seatback in front of me and my horse was either dead or I killed it accidently. A big piece of raw horsemeat fell into my arms. Then I heard the sirens on an ambulance, headed my way, as if to rescue the horse. Everyone could see that I was completely grossed out by this. The paramedic took the horsemeat. I felt inside the latch and saw some remnants of other horsemeat were left behind and asked the paramedic if he wanted those. He said we could keep that (as if to say, grill it and eat it, it'll be yummy). (This part of the dream is weird because horses are supposed to be majestic animals, yet in this dream the horse was being regarded as both majestic, and tasty to eat.)

Then the director from my job walked in. He greeted me in an unusual way, "What's happening, baby." or something like that...which is completely out of character for him. He also was not dressed conservatively in a suit and a tie like normal. Instead, he was in dark blue baggy jeans, a t-shirt, and some sort of vest. I made the comment, "Hey, you're dressed like a skateboarder." He didn't say anything. But he did make a joke teasing me about the dead horsemeat. He walked back and forth doing some tasks, I think with the meat. Now that I think about it, he was probably in his hunting gear. He hunts a lot in waking life. So this dream had something to do with my big boss, hunting, and horsemeat...

Any ideas?

Hi Carmalove,
Perhaps your husband talked to you about a place he was at where they eat horse meat. In some European countries it is as natural as eating beef! Perhaps you're disgusted by it and your subconscious uses your revultion to wake you up.
Your dream seem to be entertaining you or diverting you from waking up too early. There is some humour in the dream concerning your boss! My guess is that your dreams were caused by a slight indigestion.

Hi,
I did work on a project at work that dealt with horse slaughter, which is illegal in Texas. That is how I know that in America horses are viewed as a majestic animals, not for consumption. But Americans did slaughter horses to be shipped to Europe where horse meat is consumed as a delicacy.

When you say 'governor', do you mean like the real governor of Texas where I live? Or do you mean the big boss at my job? Who is the governor? What does a governor do?

I translated king as the governor.In dreams everybody will receive as much as his/her situation allows, for example for usual common people a governor will be his boss but for you that are near to the governor of your state it can be the real governor.
If one dreams a symbol that says he will be a king if he is in the royal family or a politician , it will come true.If he is not in that rank , means he will be executed.
