can someone help interpret my dream?

Last night, I had a dream that there was a king and a queen. The queen was trying to cure the crops of the land because the crops were going bad, but she needed the authority and approval from the king, which the king approved. So she went before the people and told her her plans but the people disapproved because they didn't like her because they weren't used to taking orders from her, but her intentions were for the good of the people. So she had to ask the senile king to walk before the people and tell the people to listen. Then she went ahead and started curing the crops and throwing fertilizer on it and they started to grow again. Afterwards, she took a hungry dog out to go feed on some of the crops but there was a bigger meaner dog that came out and started attacking the queen's dog. The queen had to run to get an even bigger dog to protect her dog which she eventually drove away. Then she had to take her dog back to go heal.

Anyone have any ideas of this dream? thanks.

The queen is powerful but needs the king's assistance to cure the crops. I think the dream signifies how men and women need to work together to solve problems. A lot of people believe in yin and yang, that men and women both have power and should peacefully coexist to survive.
You are seeing a very nice side to the queen, who isn't as well-liked as her husband. Perhaps this is shows the theme that a woman in your life is very strong and kind and will help you to thrive.
Thinking for yourself is crucial. Just because someone isn't popular doesn't mean they don't make a valuable, positive contribution to society. The message is clear that you should see that both men and women have positive things to offer in this world.

The dream seems to relate to general attitudes towards men and women. Questions about power and authority. What real life situations involve such themes. It’s an absurd suggestion. The best comparison is to expect someone what a sentence means by just giving them one word within it. For instance to ask someone what a sentence means that includes the word "soldier". In reality the process in almost impossible. There are so many different ways that the word can be used that interpreting the dream just by spotting one word within it is simply ridiculous. The word soldier can be used in many different ways such as "I need to soldier on", "we have not got enough soldiers in Iraq", and "I want to be a soldier when I grow up".

So why do people expect a dream interpreter to be able to simply understand a dream by the inclusion of one symbol. In practice dream symbolism work in much the same way as ordinary dictionaries. A soldier can represent themselves but they can also be used in a wider context to show the types of qualities that a soldier exhibits (toughness and the ability to endure hardship and follow rules). So think how anyone of those symbolic meanings relates to recent events. It’s really important to use a process of association. Associate the dream symbol with real life thoughts. First ask yourself if the symbol could represent itself. Did you think of any real life soldiers the day before? But also consider the qualities that soldier’s exhibit.
