Default killing a white owl

I love to hunt and had a dream I was hunting pheasent on my parent's street. It was the first day of the season and near the end of the day. I hadn't shot one yet and I was very anxious. At the corner of the street in a vacant lot there were two ptarmigan and a white goose walking around. I thought that the ptarmigan were in season and shot one as it tried to fly off. I hit it and it crashed into a fence and fell into the tall dry grass, dead. When I walked up to it, it had changed into a Snowy (white) owl. There was another Snowy owl and it was laying on top of the goose as if it were trying to protect it from me. Both were looking at me. A man, woman and a young girl appeared at the fence. The young girl asked me why didn't I shoot the goose instead of the owl. I lied and told here the goose was actually an osprey. Embarrased, I picked up the dead owl and walked down the street to my parent's house. The man watched me as I left. I walked into the house and my younger sister was there. Even though she is about 45 now, she was about 12 years old in this dream. She was making soup and there was a young East Indian boy with her who was tasting the soup and stated that it needed salt. I dropped the bloody carcass of the owl on the floor and woke up at this point.

Hi,

Owl in the dream symbols means a thief , jealous criminal man.If dreamt was fighting with an owl means will fight with someone. If had an owl or someone gave him one means he will overcome a thief. If dreamt was eating owl flesh means will have money from a thief. If dreamt had a little owl means his steward or his page is a thief.

Osprey means some dignity and achieving a wish.Or may mean a governor or a great man.

Goose means like a duck in interpretation and for the rest please see the word " Birds" here in the Dream Dictionary- Advanced , using search.

Good luck.

This dream explores a way of life that you have chosen with regard to a relationship with family. It appears as if you have chosen to alienate someone in your life as a result of your personal need or drive to go off on your own. The goose represents a waunderlust that you have dealt with.

The last paragraph of your posting indicates that you now wish to rekindle the family bond that was lost many years ago (or at least some degree of it was long ago lost). The east Indian boy represents the foreign or subconscious influence that is present in the minds of those who have been affected...I cannot tell if the salt in the context given, is actually to be interpreted as a spice (meaning that you wish for the relationship to be rekindled), or if it represents hurtful intent on someones part that would actually be stiring up trouble if the situation that caused this rift were revisited. One way or another your dream is dealing with that which will be achieved through bringing up the past AND OR rekindling your relationship with a close family member.
