Help analyzing dream?

Hello all, I have a dream here and I'm quite confused as to what it means .
Here's how it went,
I was sitting in my bedroom with a guitar(I don't own a guitar), and my mother was there. I started playing it (playing it left handed, but I'm right handed), and I was aweful at playing it. So my mother didn't like the way I was playing, She grabbed my (right)hand and chopped it off, I remember feeling weird, but not hurt or anything. She took the hand with her and went to work. The next thing i remember was I was crying, and I called my mother and said something along these lines, "Mom, I need to go to the hospital, I need my hand back", to which she replied, "I threw it away", and I said, "Please get it and take me to the hospital", So she said "ok", but she was angry about it. Next I remember being at the hospital with the hand re-attached, but it wasn't perfect, it had spots I think. Then I woke up, I was hoping someone could help figure out what this means. All help is greatly appreciated

Playing the guitar left handed indicates the subconscious minds perception of how you are doing in life at this time. Currently the music that you play (your direction in life is not so good).

Now something to consider when deriving meaning is reality. A question that you might ask yourself is, how am I doing in life right now. Am I following a vaild direction that will put me in proximity of my goals and dreams? So the right hand side being your dominant side represents the conscious (or waking mind). Still the indication is that you are not following the natural flow that will allow you to maximize your talents. I am not speaking about musical talents here but moreso, those talents that you have within you, that are not being used. As well this dream explores the notion that a rift that comes from the parental side, that takes away or punishes you in some way when you do not live up to parental expectations.
In essence you have let someone down. That person may well be you. Others are affected, and they care a great deal for you. They have chosen not to become enablers of habits or vices that are keeping you down.
