throwing up a snake? what does this mean?????

I recently got out of a bad relationship and have been very bitter towards this individual. He screwed me royally. Anyway, I have had a difficult time being positive about my life because I have been consumed with anger.
I've tried to pretend otherwise but it is what it is.
My stomach had been feeling like I had ball of hate stuck in it & my mind had been clouded and I couldn't think clearly.
I started reading The Secret last night because I had started to almost a year ago and never finished but I felt that I needed some sort of positivity in my life..
Anyway, I dreamt last night that I threw up a snake. I was obviously disgusted. That was all I can remember right now about the dream except for the fact that it wasn't a crazy dream so to speak. I was looking for a mouse with a friend and threw up the snake covered in an ice cream I had been eating.
I woke up feeling better...not angry anymore and my mind was clear.
Would anyone say that the snake was the anger built up inside of me?? Please help!!!
