Question Self-Combustion Dreams

Hi! I have recently had 2 daydreams dealing with me instantly catching on fire. The first one was me and a close friend of mine at school. She was teaching me how to be a drum major for band, and we were outside in the back of the school (this actually happened). However, after she gave me a hug (actually happened), I told her to run away (didn't happen). I then found myself next to some school portables not too far away from where she was teaching me. I think I was raised up into the air involuntarily, because I don't think I could fly in the dream. Anyway, I instantly combusted, but I'm not sure if it was on my own accord or not. I think I destroyed a nearby wire-mesh fence, some JROTC (pre-military program) boats next to it, and maybe a few trees near the fence and the boats.

The second was when I went to that same friend's graduation party. I walked out of the building the party was in into the place's parking lot, soared up into the air, and combusted in the same way as in my other dream. This time, my clothers were in charred tatters, but I don't think I destroyed anything else.

Is there something wrong with me? I've been dreaming about this friend for over a year now all of the time, whether I'm awake, asleep, busy, or trying to relax. I just can't seem to get her out of my head, I guess. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks. =)

This gives a whole new meaning to the old line, "being turned on"

Seriously dreams are full of innuendo, metaphor and word play. Apparently when emotions are high you simply ignite. Look for this in your dreams as a personal barometer of how you feel. Now, the floating shows that things are not necessarily going anywhere but that there is potential.

What should you do about this dream/dreams? You might wish to approach her and in the right time and space this friendship may blossom into something even more??

Hi.... A couple other thoughts to add on this dream...

1. If you are contemplating joining the military when you are out of school, perhaps you should re-consider as the images in the dream suggest it be warning you about that.

2. Being on fire can also suggest having an infection internally, so careful with your health and being exposed to anyone sick.

I'm thinking about having a double major of music and psychology, so I know that can't be it. What kind of infection would I have, though? I feel physically okay, but should I see a doctor anyway? Thanks you guys. =)

Hi Froggy,
You often think aboutthis girl in your sleep! Think what happens when you get near her in wking life! My guess is that you often blush and colour up. You do the same when you dream about her. Your subconscious will interpret tyour blushing as combustion or fire. You'll grow out of it!
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
Dreams are symbolic /indirect saying and should be interpreted.

Drum is interpreted as a lie speech.
If dreamt there was playing drum with flute and dance means a beneficial business.
If dreamt he was playing drum means he will do a vain job.

If one dreamt had wings and feathers and flew means he will have a travel.
If dreamt was flying without feathers and wings means his situation will change.
If dreamt flew from his roof to another means he will divorce his partner and will marry another person.
If dreamt was flying from a place to another like a bird means will have a travel.
If dreamt flew direct to the sky means will have a hurt and loss.
If dreamt flew to the high in the sky and disappeared and didn't turn back means his life is ending.
If dreamt flew to the galaxies means will have a pilgrimage travel.
If dreamt flew from his house to an unknown house means there is a death danger.
If dreamt had feathers unlike the birds means will get ill.

If one dreamt entered a fence means will be safe from an enemy.
If dreamt got out a fence or someone threw him out means the rival will overcome him.********

If one dreamt was in a fence means he is honest and his livelihood will increase.
If dreamt got out a fence means his livelihood will decrease.

If one dreamt a fire without smoke, it means an opening in his life.
If dreamt was fallen in the fire and it burnt him, means the governor will suppress him but will rescue soon like Abraham in the fire ( Apostles /69).
If dreamt the fire didn't burn him, he will go on a travel unwillingly.
If dreamt a hot burning fire , He will have a fever.
If dreamt fire burnt his organs , he will have disturbances.

If a woman dreamt put on men's wear means she will have a benefit and goodness.
If one dreamt he found a cloth means he will go to a travel as long as the cloth was.
If dreamt she finished knitting a cloth means she will rescue from a sorrow.
If one dreamt was selling old, worn out clothes means good and buying old clothes means bad.
If dreamt put on worn out clothes means bad if he took out worn cloth means good.
If dreamt he cut his cloth with a scissors means he will receive something.
If dreamt thieves took out his clothes means his wife will cheat him.
If dreamt his cloth was burnt means a loss by the governor.***********************
If dreamt his cloth was torn means his secret will reveal.
If dreamt his cloth was patched up means he will have short of money.
If dreamt he put on paper cloth means people will reproach him and a fur cloth means a benefit.
If dreamt put on a cloth without seam and suture like a shroud means his spiritual affairs will arrange but his life is ending.

Default hello! This is my own thoughts about your dreams

the boat represent your friend and the boat means
to coupe you in your troubles.
The Fence in your dream however is an obstacle.
You blazing fire is an achivement to succeed.
means....

Your friend is always there for you no matter what you are trying to accomplish and no matter how hard is to succeed.

She is your true friend or even more.

let me know if that helps you.

Yes, that does help, and I thank you both for the imput!

The only thing I'm wondering about now is, why did I destroy almost eveything around me in the first dream, and only my clothes in the second? I didn't actually get burned myself in either dream, but it just seemed like the fire was everywhere, like it came out of every pore in my body or something. My friend is going away to college, so is my deeper concious perhaps afraid or angry?

The college could represent the symbol of Fence (That can be the obstacle). You said that you destroy this fence... means that you did not like her to go away.
the fire symbol on your dream can also symbolize as a spiritual commitment as being friend than can also leads to emotion of being afraid or angry.
Fire can also burn you and hurt you.

It really depends how you see yourself.

Self-combustion or combustive is representative of a mercurial nature or someone with a low-level of tolerance who is aware of the possibility of destroying or too readily expressing anger and devastating that which is meaningful to them. The dream is the awareness of your own part in your own downfall and you are probably angry with yourself.
