Help please. Drempt of being rapped

The other night, I had this very strange dream. It was a little disterbing to me as well. I can not explain how disterbing it was. I am posting it here to hopefully get some answers.

I drempt that I was in Mexico on my my mission trip with my church. It was Friday morning before everyone woke up. (We left Friday to start driving home since it's an 7-8 hour drive). Anyway, I was in my tent with the 3 other women that I bunked with for the trip. I woke up to someone stranling me & lying on top of me. When I opened my eyes, it was one of the teenagers from the tent right next to mine. Tyler was trying to rappe me.

I was hitting Tyler & kicking him. I was trying to do anything that I possible could to get Tyler off of me. I finally was able to grab my friend Vikkie's arm & wake her up. She got Tyler off of me. By this time, Jodie & Joyice, the ladies that were in the tent on the other side of mine, heard my screaming & came in when I was running out of the tent. I was crying & I was running toward the fields so I could be alone.

Steve, who was a somehow related to me in the dream, came & found me. He said, "Hey Es. We're finished packing up the vehicals. We're just waiting for you. You ready to go?" I asked him if Tyler was gone yet cuse I wasn't going back to camp until he was gone. Steve told me that Tyler was up at the gate with P.C. but Jodie wanted to talk to me really quickly before we took off. (Steve, my tent mates & I were going a different way home then the teens cause the they were going to the beach.)

I went back to the camp with Steve following behind me. Jodie asked me what had happened & I told her that nothing had happened that I just wanted to go home & I got into the RV. Jodie just looked at me & Steve told her that he would try to talk to me & have me call her. For most of the ride home, I was just looking out the window pondering why this had happened to me.

We stoped just outside of San Diego to refule & eat. We fuled the car & the RV. When we got to the place to eat, Vikkie had already got out of the vehical & went inside with the other 3 from the other car. I was still sitting in the RV not realizing that we had stoped. Steve out out & came around to my side & opened the door. He looked at me & asked me if I was going to be okay & if I wanted to talk about what had happened. I lasked him with tears in my eyes, "Why did this happen to me? Why did the Lord let this happen to me & where was He while it was happening?" Steve was looking for an answer that would try to help me ease my mind but he just said, "I don't know. I don't know where the Lord was. I wish I did. I wish that whatever had happened to you this morning didn't happen to you at all. I just wanted you to have a great time on this misson trip so see how great the Lord is. The only thing that I can tell you is that the Lord is there for you to talk to. The church is there for you & I'm here for you."

Steve & I went into the Carl's Jr. & ate. Steve sat across from me while we were eating & I just didn't have the appitite to eat so I was picking at my food & thinking. Steve asked me what had happened to me. Dwayn didn't know but was wondering but Alura, Vikkie & Janie knew. The girls just wanted to know if what they had thought had happened was really true or if they all just had the same dream. I told them that I wasn't really sure of what had happened.

After we were done eating, we all headed out. We got back to the church & we were unloading the RV & what little we had in the Crusier into the church Brakeout room. Steve called his wife over to take me & to talk to me. I walked over to the car with Dawna. She asked me if I had fun. I told her that I did up until this morning. She asked me what had happened. I asked her if my kids were fine & if she brought them. I was looking at my kids & just told her that I was having a bad feeling about the kids like something was wrong. I told her that I was scared that something had happened to her & the kids (her son included).

The dream then jumped to when I came home from my aunts wedding on July 4. She saw that, when I sat down, there was brusing on the inner part on my thighs like I was rapped. She asked me if I was rapped when I was in Mexico. I was denying it & so she asked Steve if I could've been rapped & at this time, it had all clicked for him. Sunday came rolling around & Steve was furious at Tyler. Steve went up to Jodie & told her what had happened. Jodie saw me waslking aroung the corner from where I normally work in the mornings with the children. She asked me if it was true & I told her that it was but not to make a scene.

By this time, Steve had seen Tyler & Dawna, Jodie & I had to stop Steve from killing Tyler. I turned around & noticed that Tyler was right behind me & I freaked. I was frozen & I didn't know that I wasn't breathing.

Can anyone please help me figure out why I had this dream? Please, I just am confused this dream.

well dreams use symbols in rather wide ways. Rape in dreams links to associated emotions. When raped you feel powerless so it could simply link to some real life situation where you feel powerless, humiliated etc.

Also think about ways in which others are assumung that you have been humiliated. Also look for situations involving women being treated in a disrespectful manner? The dream happens in mexico. has anyone mnentioned to you mexico in particular. Maybe comments about mexican men being sexist.

Often dreams can link to real incidents happening right now. so look for anything that seems slightly related to rape happening at the moment .

When you watch a film on TV then we may all respond differently to what happens. Say for example you are watching a film about an old man showing a young boy how to do paint. We all may see this and interpret it in different ways. Some may wish to immediately pass on their own experience or knowledge in the same way as the old man is. A young boy may see this as a really boring experience and may compare it to some moment when some old guy tried to pass on their own boring knowledge. Others may view this in a very different way. Those who are suspicious may see the man as a potential pedophile who is trying to attack the boy. Others may see the old man and think about their own grandfather and think how much they miss him. No. It was just a horrible dream that I never would have thouht that I would have. No one mentioned anything about Hispanic men being sexist. It wasn't a hispanic that was trying to rape me in my dream. It was a white boy.

Stay away from Tyler. You may feel violated by him or sense something is wrong with him. Either way, avoid him like the plague.

I have been. I haven't liked him since the mission trip in June and I have been staying away from him.
