I've had 3 disturbing dreams in the same night all with the same theme...
which was myself losing 2 loved ones, my sister and boyfriend, in a large crowd of people... all dreams involved a frantic search for them, and i woke up without finding them. the 3rd dream however, i got lost. my family and i were at a party somewhere, and they left me there. I found them before I woke up. i thought it was really bizarre to dream about the same concept and was wondering what this actually means? thanks for the help -danielle |

The act of loosing someone in your dream depicts that the dreamer is unsure about him or herself. Think about how you felt when you found the person that you lost in your dream. This is a way that the subconscious uses to increase bonding by allowing you to measure the emotional cost of the loss. Say for instance you loose track of someone and you do not worry at all. This would either indicate that you are sure of yourself OR it would indicate what the person lost, means to you. IN the first case you were concerned enough to wake due to the experience of anxiety of having lost them. These people you really identify with and it was painful until you at last found them. Likely showing that there would be pain and angst should they disappear. You are not likely as confident around them.
The next dream where you lost your family while at a party shows that while they are important to you, you are most confident with them. sailrmc |

I picked the following up from the web. The quotation marks indicate that this isn't my writing:
"If our egos develop subconscious fear-based beliefs during our early years – almost everyone does – these beliefs continually upset our equilibrium in our adult life. Our subconscious fear-based beliefs lurk in the background of our minds, and can be triggered by an incident at any moment in time. If something happens that is reminiscent of a situation in time when our needs were not being met, then the memory of the past hurt springs into the present and conditions our response to the situation. Even if we have reached the stage where we are consciously seeking to make a difference in the world (level 6), a subconscious fear-based belief about relationships (level 2) that has not been resolved can cause us to be dysfunctional with family members or coworkers. " You are afraid of losing loved ones, but I'm sure this is just a subconscious fear. Did you have a death in the family at an early age or felt neglected by parents or siblings? Though you may have repressed this feeling of rejection or loneliness, it seems to be coming out in your dreams. Believe me, I have had the same dreams. I love my dad dearly but he was never around because 1. he had too many mouths to feed and 2. he wasn't emotionally capable of providing the support my mom did. The funny thing is that I dreamed recently that he had a heart attack and realized I was holding onto all this hurt and not moving on with my life. Realizing that I needed to forgive him and move on was tantamount toward my own repair of self-esteem issues. You may fear that loved ones will leave you, but I doubt they will. |

Quote:
If you dream three different dreams on the same night that wake you up, you must have a very bad night! Your dreams indicate that you were in an emotional state that night. I can only guess that perhaps you had an argument with someone or something upset you the day before the dreams. Ofcourse falling inlove can have the same effect! Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
If one dreamt was lost, means he will remain obscure and little known and no-one will appreciate him. If dreamt his wife or his child or a sibling was lost means he will have a money loss.************* If dreamt his property was lost , if it was a good thing means a sorrow is one the way but if it was a bad thing means his affairs will arrange.
