Need help.. Is someone trying to warn me?

I had a dream about a month or more ago: The world was ending, hot lava was in my back yard, I am packing my kids stuff like I am going on a trip. I am planning to go to Jarbdige, NV which is the out of the way town which hardly anyone knows about. I remember thinking that would be the safest place to hide. (This is also where my parents have retiered to, this is in real life) My husband is a sleep and I keep trying to wake him up. He tells me it's no big deal, we have plenty of time because the lava hasnt even reached the house yet. I continue to keep packing and I remeber choosing outfits like going on trip matching things and picking the cutest out of all the outfits but I am frantic at the same time. Then all of a sudden I look out the window and Meteors are falling I wake up my husband and I remember holding my kids thinking "I told you, it's too late" towards my husband. We didnt get out in time. Then I woke up scared. Just waking up so terrified and half a sleep still I go to get comfort from my husband and he is not in bed. So I go down stairs and I look over the stairs and the TV is on and I see people running and screaming in terror. It looks like there is meteors falling or bombs and people are running into underground shelters. What are the chances of that!!!! Now some important things to know that I have already been asked: The TV's sound was turned almost all the way down and my bedroom door was shut so I didnt even know that the TV was on until I could see that it was on. I also did not watch any TV or movies that were anything similar any time recent.
Now... I was freaked out a little about this dream but I just figured it to be a nightmare. Then a couple of weeks ago we were on a trip, to Jarbdige. I love history so for the raod trip I randomly downloaded a bunch of episodes from the History Channel on to my ipod so I could watch them in the car. I watch the one on Nostradamus's lost Book andthey talk about the world ending by meteors. (Another sign?) Then once we got back from vacation a co-worker who I rarely ever have any conversations with, out of the blue starts telling me about this dream she had. First... we live in Las Vegas so you need to know this. Her dream was: something about everyone was exposed to radiation here from the test site being so close. Then the government made everyone switch children and take them to the test site and they had to take them into the homes that they tested the bombs in (like the fake town they blow up in the new Indiana Jones movie) She wasnt aloud to take her own kid because the attachment so you had to take someone elses child. She also said that everone was kind of like zombies because they had all been exposed to radiation and they had to pretend that they didnt notice because they hadnt yet been exposed.
OK.... so then the very next day I was talking to a different co-worker who is on the board of Candle Lighters which is a non-profit organization for children with cancer. She was telling me that (and I don't know how ture this is but...) that their was down wind that carried stuff down into the city(back in the day) from when they tested bombs and there are certain areas in town where there a more cancer pt than other areas and that all of the building thats been going on they are stirring up all that durt now. I work in health care and we have noticed more cancer patients than ever before. There is also an increase in cancer in animals .I personally know of several. My friends dog, my sister in laws dog is having tests done because they suspect it, then my mother in laws dog died of breast cancer back in 97 or 98, my dof has a tumor but has been unconfimred yet of cancer. Then my dad worked at the test site and he has prostate cancer.
Ok.. another sign?: I over heard a nurse talking about her friend and how they want to travel because both of their husbands have passed away. She said her friends husband was a scientist at Area 51 and he died of cancer and her own husband died of cancer (she didnt say where he worked). But anyways....... paying attention to all of these starnge things recently I am wondering if my dream is warning me if we don't move soon then it will be too late. I wondering if all of these things are truely signs? And are they warning me about cancer to either me or one of my kids or my husband. OR...... am I being totally perinoid?
ANYONE.... Do you have any advise?

Well often key quotes in dreams maybe packed with symbolism. I often wake up and a quote will be the key to the dream. try just ignoring the general storyline of the dream and simply thinking about that quote. Think about what happened the day before. Think about how your kids have been thinking recently. This quote probably has relevance for something going on right now - even if its just inside your heads.
